They claim they’re confident they will have him for the stretch run. I’d imagine this will be 2-3 weeks.

I'm sure the next 4 games will play into the decision, but to me this is yet another reason the Rangers should be sellers, period. Move Lindgren and Smith for sure, and I'd say Kreider, or one core player as well. Be bold here and set yourself up for next season best you can.

Look, if one is being objective, it just isn't happening this season. Drury gets paid very well to have foresight and see that, it's just the reality of how the season has played out. And whether they slip in as a WC or miss the playoffs the ultimate result is not changing; this is not a SC team this season.

I am someone who advocates going for it just about every trade DL, but this season is different, and it's very clear to see this team isn't the team to make a run. Accept that, and act accordingly, please Drury. One step back, for hopefully two steps forward next season. And maybe you can even move a bad contract with a Lindgren let's say instead of getting a 2nd round pick, not his strong suite, but be creative.

I don't think Fox being out hurts the team that badly. he was out for 10 games last year and the PP, which was good, didn't miss a beat. Zac Jones gets his chance to shine and hopefully open Drury's eyes to Fox being the Rangers weakest link defensively postseason. Move wee Adam now before the NTC kicks in forcing Rangers fans to endure years of decline, injury and IR stints.

Shocker...Fox injured towards the end of the season, who would have predicted that?

    Oh wait...

He has to have still been affected by the past injuries with his slip in play this year.
