Which means he has to miss at least 10 games with what’s being reported as a sprained MCL, Chytil to IR with the infamous upper body injury most likely another concussion and DOMINGUE brought up as Igor also banged up and quick in the nets tmo. AHO better call in sick next time we play them as he is a DEAD MAN!
What a mess after last night's game: Fox on LTIR - meaning he misses a minimum of 10 games and 24 days. Chytil on IR - meaning he misses a minimum of 7 days (cannot play again until November 12th against CBJ at the earliest). Igor banged up - I am assuming he'll miss at least the Wild game. Goodrow out against the Wild due to birth of his son. Not good, but if the reports on Fox are accurate that he'll be out 2-4 weeks, which has to be closer to 4 weeks now since LTIR is minimum 24 days, that is a huge relief. If he misses exactly 10 games, he'll be eligible to come back against Detroit on November 29th. That would be 10 games and 26 days from today. Let's hope he is back for that game, and the team can hold their own over the minimum of 10 games he'll miss.
Gotta say I'm disappointed but not surprised nobody but Laf went after that punk Aho. Also not surprising was the lack of a call by the ref right in front of the play, then the little prick butt ends Miller with no call and more disturbingly no retribution.
I’m sure Lava will address that. However, it wouldn’t have been the spot to retaliate. The game was too close.
Aho was out there at the end of the game, score is irrelevant when the buzzer sounds. The lack of response won't go unnoticed by other teams.
Goodrow did squat who is supposed to be a leader. Cuylle can handle that but is a rookie. Trouba was the guy that failed as the captain in that spot. Miserably.
A 2-1 game was not the time to handle it if it wasn’t done immediately. At the end of the game just earns a suspension. Goodrow at this point to me is useless and can go if nothing else to open up some cap space. I guarantee this gets handled in our next game with them. Can’t wait for a kid like rempe to be up here. He’s the perfect guy for this shit as he showed against the piles.
“I’ve got to fight every time I do something, so I figure [Aho] should probably have to answer for it too, but he didn’t feel that way,” Rangers captain Jacob Trouba quipped after the game.
The score remains irrelevant because the game was over and Aho was out there. At the end of the Yotes game when they started a fight there were no suspensions though rules are applied differently toward the Blueshirts as are player safety protocols. My point is that teams are going to come at the Rangers physically and they have nobody but Trouba to answer the bell. I'd rather see Rempe and Othman than Wheeler and Kakko.
