    Week 1 Vs Chicago

A tough but good opening game for the packers, the bears defense will be a great way to measure how good the new offense will work, the Packers Defense should have a field day against the bears still stagnent offense. However the Bears defense is strong enough to hold The Packers at bay.

    0-1

    14-10 Bears

    Week 2 vs New Orleans

The Saints new offense is full of firepower but still wont be gelled enough to contend just yet, however that doesn't mean they wont score alot even on what looks to be a very good packers Defense. The Packers offense comes back after a mediocre or worse performance against the bears, this could become a classic shoot out.

    28-21 Packers

    1-1

    Week 3 At Detroit

The Lions once again appear poised to make the leap from bad to decent, but once again it hasn't happened. The Lions no longer have Joey and have an established QB in Kitna, but how well can Kitna run a high powered offense like Mike Martz's? The Packers take this one albeit because of a stellar defensive game, the defense slowly becomes the new face of the team.

    17-10 Packers

    2-1

    Week 4 At Philly

The Eagles are coming off a bad season, but soon show they are still just as dangerous, and put on a performanc e on both sides of the ball. The Packers keep up for ahwile but a drowned out by the star power the Eagles posses.

    24-14 Eagles

    2-2

    Week 5 vs Rams

The Packers return to lambeau to face the new St. Louis rams. The rams however do little else than show up however. there defense nnot up to par with Favre, Driver and company. Packers roll through the rams.

    35-10 Packers

    3-2

    WEEK 6 BYE

    Week 7 At Dolphins

The Packers encounter old nemsis Duante Culpepper down in Miami, the Dolphins and Packers put on a fabulous show with great effort from both sides of the ball however the dolphins are able to squeeze out a big win.

    24-21 Dolphins

    3-3

    Week 8 vs Cardinals

The Cardinals come to lambeau with a high powered offense, capable of making most team cringe, however the packers new defensive squad is more than reeady for the task. The Cardinals defense is unable to prevent the new WCO from reaching the end zone, resulting in a loss.

    28-17 Packers

    4-3

    Week 9 At Bills

The Bills another rebuilding franchise put up a great struggle against the packers, the game becomes a defense battle ground, in the end the Packers are able to pull out a victory.

    10-7 Packers

    5-3

    Week 10 at Vikings

The rivalry continues as these two powerhouses of tradition collide once again, Minnesota and Greenbay put on an amazing display as usual, the Packers defense once again steps up though bringing home a win.

    21-14 Packers

    6-3

    Week 11 vs Patriots

Many believe the Dynasty to be over, however the Pats are stil as dangerous as any team out there, they come into lambeau and rip victory from the packers hands.

    21-10 Pats

    6-4

    Week 12 at Seattle

Seattle is the one true threat of NFC West and show why blowing the Packers away on all fronts, the Packers hang on for a short time but are no match for the defending NFC Champs.

    35-14 Seattle

    6-5

    Week 13 vs Jets

The Jets are definatly rebuilding but are still a talented football team, a strong draft class infuses a youthful determination here, this matchup could go either way but the JEts manage to pull one out lead by a dominant defense.

    21-17 Jets

    6-6

    Week 14 at 49ers

The 9ers are in a heap of trouble, losing many start players in the off season, Vernon Davis first rounder is given some payback for the discouraging comments he spoke of against the packers post draft time. The 9ers have no chance in heck to win, and are blown to ribbons by the packers in every aspect.

    31-7 Packers

    7-6

    Week 15 vs lions

The Lions once again square of against the Green and Gold and now with the offense more down pact put up a much better fight, the Packers offense is still able to keep a win in reach however.

    24-14 Packers

    8-6

    Week 16 vs Vikings

The Packers and Vikings go at it one more time, this time the Vikings come through, the series tends to go either way between these two.

    31-28 Vikings

    8-7

    Week 17 at Bears

The Bears will have most likely clinched a spot, if not this game and the last become even more important, the Packers can taste a winning season and use the emotion along with the possibillity of this being Favre's last stand at chicago to pull out a narrow win.

    13-10 Packers

    9-7 Possible Wild Card Birth.

    and there ya have it!

Alright so you don't feel like a loner and I'm bored, I'll do one as well [IMG]

    Projected Lineup:

    QB: Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers/Ingle Martin
    RB: SamKon Gado/Ahman Green/Najeh Davenport
    FB: William Henderson/Noah Herron
    WR: Donald Driver/Greg Jennings/Cory Rodgers
    WR: Robert Ferguson/Marc Boerigter/Chad Lucas
    TE: Bubba Franks/Donald Lee/David Martin
    LT: Chad Clifton/Adrian Klemm/Tony Moll
    LG: Daryn Colledge/Adrian Klemm/Tony Moll
    OC: Scott Wells/Chris White
    RG: Junius Coston/Jason Spitz
    RT: Mark Tausher/Will Whitticker

    DE: KGB/Mike Montgomery
    DT: Ryan Pickett/Colin Cole/Kendrick Allen
    DT: Corey Williams/Cullen Jenkings/John Jolly
    DE: Aaron Kampman/Kenny Peterson
    LB: Ben Taylor/Brady Poppinga/Roy Manning
    LB: Nick Barnett/Abdul Hodge
    LB: AJ Hawk/Roy Manning/Brady Poppinga
    CB: Al Harris/Mike Hawkins/Will Blackmon
    CB: Charles Woodson/Ahmad Carroll/Jason Horton
    SS: Marquend Manuel/Marvel Underwood
    FS: Nick Collins/Ty Lue

    K Billy Cundiff
    P: John Ryan

    KR: Cory Rodgers/Najeh Davenport
    PR: Will Blackmon/Cory Rodgers

    Couple of Notes:

Yes I think Rod Gardner is gone. Hasn't showed up for OTA's and is in McCarthy's dog house. I also think the last WR roster spot is between, Gardner, Ferguson, and Boerighter. Someone needs to emerge and I don't think neither will but I think Gardner will be gone in the final cuts.

Mark Roman is also as good as gone from what I read. If the coaching staff is confident enough with Marvel Underwood as our top backup safety, they'll probably give Roman his wish and cut him. Word is Underwood is playing great.

Ahman Green won't see probably any pre season games. Maybe 1. This is why I think Gado starts the season. RB will be by committee this year.

BJ Sander is as good as gone in my opinion.

Corey Williams just deserves to start. This guy continues to show up for work. Doesn't complain and has played well for so long. It's time he breaks the starting lineup. Though I think it's a 5 man rotation in the middle. Pickett, Jenkins, Williams, Cole, and I think you'll see Kenny Peterson on dime downs in the middle with Kampman, or Jenkins, and KGB, and Montgomery as the DE's.

    Now for the Season.

Week 1: vs. Chicago Bears This will be a huge statement game for the Packers. If they win it, then the NFC won't take the Pack lightly all year and doubters will be put to rest for a short time at least. Unfortunately I don't think we can beat the Bears. Their D-line is going to shred are young guards apart. Can't run and then can't pass. McCarthy's O is run to setup pass. I don't think we'd be able to do that. Should be close though.

    Bears 20 Packers 13

    0-1

Week 2: vs. New Orleans Saints We get the Saints early. Reggie Bush will get his yards. Their offense will be tough. I like our chances in this game though. Should be able to run. Should be able to pass and I think our secondary can old their own. New Orleans should be one dimensional.

    Pack 24 Saints 14

    1-1

    Week 3: @ Detroit Lions
Should be a tight game. The Lions WR's vs. our CB's. I'll take our CB's if we're healthy. Health is the key but health is the key to every teams success really. I don't like any of the Lions moves in the off season. Our D should be able to pressure Kitna or Josh McCowan and our O should be able to move the ball.

    Pack 30 Lions 28

    2-1

Week 4 @ Philadelphia Eagles This is the tough one to call. GB never plays well in Philly as of late and McNabb usually plays solid against us. Their WR's shouldn't do much and if we can contain Westbrook we should be okay. For some reason though, I think Westbrook has a big game. Our LB's will over pursue lately and that's something you cannot do with against someone as elusive as Westbrook. The Eagles defense will be able to keep our offense in check. If we were at home, I might think different but we're not.

    Eagles 17 Pack 7

Week 5: vs. St. Louis Rams The Rams could be a solid team this year. Very overlooked were their additions and I think they'll be good. We're at home which is a plus but Scott Lineham always calls a good game and especially against the Packers. Steven Jackson could have a big game. I also think their defense will be good enough to slow us down. If our RB's are all healthy we might be able to do some damage. GB needs to get a lead early and force Bulger to throw 30+ a game. That's when picks will come. I don't like our chances though. Lineham will out coach McCarthy in my opinion.

    Rams 26 Pack 17

    2-3

    Week 6: Bye

    Week 7: @ Miami Dolphins
This depends on Culpepper's health. Harrington would struggle against us. He usually does and I think we'd be able to pressure Harrington. Culpepper can move around and could give us problems. I don't think we have an answer to them on either side of the ball. Miami is just a better team in my opinion.

    Dolphins 28 Pack 14

Week 8: vs. Arizona Cardinals The Cardinals line should have problems this season. So we should be able to pressure Warner or Leinart. Their WR's vs. our CB's will be intriguing to watch. We have the home field advantage and I don't think Warner will be able to hold up all year. So if this is Leinart we win easily, if it's Warner it's a dog fight but I still think the Pack prevail.

    Pack 27 Cards 21

    3-4

Week 9: @ Buffalo Bills The Bills in my opinion are one of the worse teams in football. I don't think GB is that bad and in Buffalo we'll be okay. We'll be able to move the ball in my opinion and their O won't do much to our D in my opinion. Should be a victory but their our no gimmies. Only injuries and overconfidence will cost us this one.

    Pack 28 Bills 10

    4-4

    Week 10 @ Minnesota Vikings
This could be the make or break game against us. The Vikings o-line should be able to destroy us. Their left side is nasty. Taylor will have a big game and Johnson is the kind of guy who doesn't lose you games. Our interior line won't be able to handle the Williams duo. I don't like our chances unless it's snowing in Lambeau. We'll possibly get that later in the year thought [IMG]

    Vikings 28 Pack 13

    4-5

Week 11 vs. New England Patriots ekk the Pat's have to be on our schedule. Luckily we play them at home. I don't see much of a difference. Their 3-4 should give us problems. We won't win in my opinion.

    Pack 14 Pats 27

    4-6

Week 12: @ Seattle Seahawks Now we get the Seahawks. Their coaching staff knows Favre very well (duh) Alexander will run all over us and the Seahawks should ease their way to victory.

    Seahawks 35 Pack 20

    4-7

Week 13: vs. N.Y. Jets Kellen Clemons will probably be starting soon. They're in worse shape than us in my opinion. They're more of a future set team, as are we, but we got Favre and we're home late in the year. Chalk up a W.

    Pack 24 Jets 14

    5-7

Week 14: @ San Francisco 49ers Worse team in football is the Niners in my opinion. They're not very good in my opinion. Smith will struggle. No good running attack. GB will ease their way to victory.

    Pack 38 49ers 14

    6-7

    Week 15: vs. Detroit Lions
By now our only Lions fan will be in hibernation for the year. Lions will have inconsistency from QB play all year. It'll show here. @ home in December. Advantage us. GB wins in my opinion.

    Pack 21 Lions 7

    7-7

    Week 16: vs. Minnesota Vikings
This last two weeks could be our make or break games. We have a "easy" run of games and then two HUGE games against the Vikings and Bears. If it's cold, I'm not sure Johnson can hold up. Favre is used to it by now and it doesn't bother him. Pack should be okay in my opinion. Line should of gelled by now and should be better from the first meeting.

Pack 23 Vikes 20 - Could go either way

    8-7

Week 17: @ Bears The decider. I honestly think 9 wins will allow you to win the division this year. The Bears are just too good. Our O-line will be better now assuming we're healthy and assuming Chicago is healthy, they're just better. GB loses this one and misses the playoffs.

    Pack 10 Bears 14

8-8 is what I got. 7 to 9 wins is what I see and remember this is a young team. We won't win a SB for Favre. We don't have the talent. We do have the talent to compete in the division and I think we can. The key to this teams future is Aaron Rodgers. If he ends up being great, this team will be solid for years to come. If not then we'll have a setback similar to Buffalo and Detroit.

I would say that is a fair assesment of what your record could be. However, beating vikes twice not going to be easy. Also, Bears win 12 games, so last game makes no difference!

haha the Bears fairly well could win 11 or 12 games.

I have the Pack beating the Lions twice and splitting with the Vikes.

    My guess would be:

    W1 vs. Bears - L 21 - 17

    W2 vs. Saints - W 24 - 13

    W3 @ Lions - W 27 - 13

    W4 @ Eagles - W 17 - 13

    W5 vs Rams - W 24 - 21

    W6 Bye

    W7 @ Dolphins L 27 - 20

    W8 vs Cardinals W 31 - 30

    W9 @ Bills W 21 - 3

    W10 @ Vikings L 17 - 14

    W11 vs Patriots L 28 - 20

    W12 @ Seahawks L 31 - 21

    W13 vs Jets W 27 - 14

    W14 @ 49ers W 21 - 10

    W15 vs Lions W 24 - 10

    W16 vs Vikings W 20 - 17

    W17 @ Bears L 24 - 10

So, in my prediction the Packers will go 10-6 and probally get a wild card spot. Though I'm not sure about the Eagles and Cardinals.

^ the scheduele seems easy and you think you can get 10 wins out of it but of course there's always that surprise team and i honestly dont see how the pack are better than the teams yo say theyll beat. If healthy its possible but im not sure if Favre has enough to lead the Pack this year

Since Leinart will be in, I doubt it.

    If Warner is in possibly.

With that said Cardinals are overrated again this year. I think they'll win 8 or 9 games but they won't challenge Seattle at all. Once Leinart develops they'll be scary.

In Lambeau, it'll be a dogfight.
