Jamal Crawford, Steve Francis, Stephon Marbury ,Quentin Richardson ,Jalen Rose What is Thomas thinking. Wonder if hes getting back at the Knicks because Benard King ripped him to pieces in the NBA finals

I was just going to say that, add Nate Robinson to that list of shootfirst guards/swingmen who need to get minutes and shots on that team..This team is a mess, Isiah is doing a terrific job..

Francis is good, but they have wayyyy too many guards! They need size!

Francis is not the type of player they need, actually, hes the direct opposite of what they need. They needed to berid themselves of Marbury, not add another player similar to him..

This is a stupid trade in my opinion. The Magic could have gotten somebody better than Penny, besides, Penny is old and has had injury problems. The Knicks just added more problems to the mountain of ones they already have...

Orlando is doing awesome over the past few days. They get a good young player and an expiring contract. They will be a force to reckon with in a few years. Howard-Darko-Hedu/Hill-Ariza-Nelson. Very scary.

Excellent trade for Orlando, they will have the most capspace of any team in the league in 2007 when all the big-name free agents hit the market. They have a great young combo of Nelson and Howard whom will only continue to improve and they will have the ability to sign a marquee free agent with the money they get by trading Cato and Francis..

Yea just great, another turnover plagued ball hog. Not a great deal for the Knicks, though we didn't trade Crawford which is strange. Just means we have a ton of ball hogs on the team right now, which is just great. I'm sure this isn't the last trade Isiah will make in the next 24 hours.

i'm not that happy about this trade simply because the knicks need a pass first pg like earl watson. the rumor was crawford for francis. i don't like giving up on ariza but he wasn't needed here because he was out of the rotation. orlando got a nice young player in ariza. there's a lot of ego's on this team kinda like the shaq, kobe, payton and karl malone laker team but not to that extreme. jalen rose, marbury and francis in the same backcourt? i wanna hope that this works but i am not very confident about it. the only hope i have is that people said that earl and frazier couldn't work together but they did. i think that now that we have francis that crawford is out because he was in rumors for francis. maybe he'll be goin to denver for watson and someone else? i hope something can go right this season for my knicks. i'm sick of everyone trashing them.

The only problem about having the most cap space, is most of those free agents in 07 are likely to just resign with their teams. I can see Rashard Lewis leaving his respective team in 07 though. On the deal, it's funny how Magic end up with this after the Tmac trade. Darko, Arroyo, Penny, Ariza, Christie(done). But it's a good move for the future. For Knicks, I just don't get it, and there's rumors now of them trading for Watson. I think Knicks ain't done though, Crawford next to go, probably for Watson. Should be fun to watch. Like a bad car wreck.

All I can do is laugh...apparently a backcourt with Marbury/Rose was not good enough....Why make all these moves when your team is going nowhere? I think Trevor Ariza is a little over done in terms of his potential... Stephon Marbury - 4 years $20 million per. Jalen Rose - 2 years $16 million per. Quentin Richardson - 5 years $7 million per. Jamal Crawford - 6 years $8 million per. Steve Francis - 4 years $16 million per. How can Knicks fans approve of this lunacy?

Money will be the thing that attracts them, and Orlando will have plenty. Will players resign with their teams? Yeah, most probably will..But Im sure Orlando will make a run at some of the top players and come away with one, if not two simply because of the fact that they have money to offer..

Isiah Thomas says Steve Francis/Stephon Marbury will be the modern day Isiah Thomas/Joe Dumars. What an idiot. This guys has no idea how to build a team. He thinks this is a fantasy league and it shows when he makes stupid trades like this. The Knicks have too many guys who want to be the superstar and take all the shots. They need to get rid of some of them, not add more. Bad move, in my opinion. Maybe Isiah will make me eat crow.

Most of them are gonna be maxed. Melo, Bosh, Dirk, Wade, Bron, Bibby, Lewis, Carter are the top free agents, and I can't see any really signing with Magic. Bibby and Lewis are the best bets, but Magic have Nelson/Diener/Arroyo, so I'd rule out Bibby.

This trade does not make sense if he doesn't trade at least two guards somewhere to get some big time help up front. I cannot make sense of this trade for Orlando either, I know they get young talent and cap space, but they didnt get near enough talent. If they wanted to, they probably could have gone to a team with A Number One. Its to late now, but if the Bulls offer Gordon, TThomas and a #1 (top 5 protect) Chicago probably makes the playoffs.
