Coach Jim Harbaugh remains confident the San Francisco 49ers will work out a fair new contract for two-time Pro Bowl running back Frank Gore. League sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Sunday that the talks are going slowly and the sides remain far apart. According to the sources, Gore is getting "very frustrated," but Harbaugh dismissed the notion that Gore is unhappy with negotiations, calling it "water-cooler talk."
