<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, Lawrence Frank talks about his front court, particularly the things the Nets missed last season after Nenad Krstic went down. Frank talks about what new Nets Sean Williams and Jamaal Magloire bring to the team and admits to “an action plan” to help Williams become an NBA player and “a mature adult”. Answering mail, Dave D’Alessandro adds that Krstic’s versatility gives Frank additional options on offense.</div></p> Q&A with Nets coach Lawrence Frank </p>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'></p> Frank: Well, Curly was off to a great start offensively. He was making a natural progression off the strong year he had in [2005-06]. We were actually fortunate that Mikki [Moore] stepped up. But Curly was also a low-post presence, and we didn't have that. He has an array of moves that help us. At times we get a little perimeter-oriented, and having him takes pressure off our guards. He's really worked this summer, too. He's got a little bit of an unorthodox post game. He's able to pivot off either foot. He's become a little bit more dimensional in that he has worked on his off hand. Before he was pretty much a right-handed-dominant player. He's going to be a little bit harder to guard.</div></p> Holyshit yay! Curly's done some work. Thank god. We needed him to step up his post game.</p>
</p> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Dave: Doesn't it tick you off that whining ninnies like Kobe Bryant dominate the news with their stupid trade demands? Danny G.</p> Danny: You want to know what ticks me off? California has a population of about 36 million but only accounts for 55 electoral votes, while the 12 inland states of the Great Plains and Far West have a combined population of 23 million and account for 59 electoral votes. That's what ticks me off. But I'm working on it. The Kobe stuff doesn't tick me off, because otherwise ESPN would have nothing else to write about.</div></p> hahaha. gotta love Dave D.</p>
