<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">No, James, Boozer and - to a lesser extent - Zydrunas Ilgauskas didn't deserve to be bypassed as All-Star reserves by the voting coaches. But are the Cavs players paying the price for team management's recent decision to sue former coach Mike Fratello? Fratello, a popular TV analyst for both TNT and the Miami Heat, has numerous friends in the NBA coaching brotherhood. And you can bet some of those coaches - who feel Fratello is getting stiffed by Cavs management - will savor any opportunity to stick the Cavs in return.</div> Read the rest

The Cavs are tryin to stiff Mike Fratello out of some money, and he used his influence around the league to sway the votes of some former colleagues, and thus no Cavs were voted in as reserves ( in theory ).
It's a good possibility that its true. Too bad it had to go down this way. Fratello was a real big Cav fan in heart. He would always stick up for the Cavs and talk highly of them when he broadcasted a few games.
The so called, "Good Old Boys" networking is prevelant in the NBA, it wouldn't surprise me if Fratello had some influence over coaches. However, Silas also has respect with coaches in the league. This situation is only going to fuel LeBron to play harder against Easter opponents.
Doesn't this give people more excuses to say why Bron and Boozer were left off....great, more discussions on THAT topic. It wasn't just Bron and Boozer that were snubbed. It happens every year, but you guys know that. I really don't believe in this conspiracy theory stuff and I know you guys are skeptical about it too. This story is just linking one thing to another. I'm pretty sure Fratello has more time on his hands than to contact coaches and tell them not to vote in any of the cavs. He knows their gonna make it one year or another, its inevitable.
I kind of doubt this. There has been so much coaching turn over in the years since Fratello was coaching the Cavs. I kind of doubt that Fratello is buddy buddy with the likes of Stan Van Gundy, Lawrence Frank, Terry Porter, Tim Floyd, Scott Skiles, etc.

I'm sure his job as an announcer has allowed him to keep the communication lines flowing nicely. Plus he's got links to organized crime! I mean, you can either not vote for any Cavs or take a swim in concrete Nikes, what would you do?

People are always looking for conspiracy theories when writing articles. This may have been the case for a couple of coaches, but I highly doubt this is the reason why no Cavs made it. I think the better theory is that some coaches don't like the idea of all these high school kids jumping right to the pros, so they felt like putting Lebron on the all star team would be encouraging it in a way. I could see a guy like Larry Brown thinking this. I'm not saying that this is what happened, I'm just saying its a more viable conspiracy theory than the Fratello one.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtVision:</div><div class="quote_post"> Okay are you serious?? Please tell me you ain't serious....</div> You are familiar with Mike "the Czar of the Telestrator" Fratello, but for the street and underground world he is better known as Mike "the Don" Fratello. His hand precision on the telestrator comes from years of being the professional knife man for the mob. He can disect the human body, the way he disects games for the NBA. He molded his Atlanta Hawks similar to the way he ran his crime syndicate. His right hand man in Atlanta was Dominique "the Human Highlight Fim" Wilkins, similar to his street well dressed and flamboyant right hand man, Tony "Pinstripes." Of course every crime family has a member with little man's syndrome, also known as the Napolean complex, and for Fratello, he had Gino "the Mouse" on the streets, and Spud Webb on the basketball court. Fratello's advisor and floor leader both shared the same alias, "Doc," and both were responsible for being the voice of Fratello when he couldn't physically be in the area. They both helped preach Fratello's ideology and backed the boss man 100%. And finally what crime organization and basketball team could exist without an enforcer? Cross Fratello and you had to deal with Vinny "the Brick," mess around with the franchise Dominique Wilkins, and you would have to deal with "Tree" Rollins.

He sure killed the enjoyment of watching Cavs games while he was the coach, so it wouldn't surprise me if he killed other things/people as well.
