In digging through old Oregon yearbooks I came across a story all but completely forgotten from the university's past I thought was really fascinating. One of the more bizarre stories from Oregon's history...And it includes a few football games on campus.
During World War I, one University of Oregon fraternity house quite literally went all in for the war effort, when the house joined the navy. Not its members, the actual house. the U.S.S. Sigma Chi.
