is my new hero...on nba tv he said he sees the magic in the second round and if the other team isnt careful, he sees us in the eastern finals.
I guess it really depends on who the Magic match up with in the playoffs. I don't think they are ready to beat Chicago, Miami, Detroit, or Cleveland. The Magic have a lot of question marks surrounding their team and having zero playoff experience is a disadvantage for them. Statements by Fred Carter are nice to hear, but they have a nasty downside if Orlando doesn't live up to expectations.
Truthfully, the playoffs are too far away to do any predicting. I'd be happy with the Magic making the playoffs and anything more would be great. The main thing is to get the core some playoff experience and if we advance further that will be a great tool to lure some free agents to Orlando to play alongside our core.
i believe if the magic make it as a 4-6 team (speaking realistically cause i dont believe theyll make it as a 1, 2, 3 team) they could advance to the second round and hey if the underdog from the prvious series wins it, who knows what we can do
