The Atlanta Braves knocked around Cole Hamels in the opener, then chased Roy Halladay in the fourth inning on Wednesday night. They have six homers through two games against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Jason Heyward just loves what he is seeing so far.

"Jumping out early is huge," he said. "It's not always going to happen, but it's nice to do and nice to give your pitcher that cushion."

Heyward, Justin Upton and rookie Evan Gattis homered, leading Paul Maholm and the Braves to a 9-2 victory over the Phillies.
