A little after Nash got traded to the Lakers, Hill was choosing between the Lakers and the Clippers and he chose the Clips.

His draft picks have been pretty horrible aside from Rubio and Lawson (who he traded away). Since he can't draft, might as well trade away as many picks as you can.

2009 -- Drafts Johnny Flynn (gone in 2 years),
2010 -- Drafts Wes Johnson (about to be traded with a future #1 for cap space),
2011 -- Drafts Derrick Williams, who may be on his way out too, who knows.

I wonder what Rick thinks. He wanted Batum and that made sense. But does Broy, Bundinger, and AK seem like they will fit in with Rubio? I am not sure Love really does either. Rubio seems like he would thrive with a faster tempo. His lack of a jump shot is more exposed in a half court set. I could be wrong but all the moves to make Love happy seem like they will make Rubio less happy. We will see.
