Nicolas Batum is the man! I'd like to see what he can do if we were to really turn him loose in the offense. Best thing of the season, IMO, is the return of Joel. As a Blazers fan, how can you not love that guy?
Greg Oden's got a massive member that's probably 3x bigger than all of us put together, which causes his limp in his walk AND probably what caused his knee to shatter when it banged off his knee cap a couple of seasons ago! It has its own weather system and gravity, which causes him to rehab slower due to the constant pull on his knees inward.
Buck Williams IS dapper in a bowtie. I realize that I simply repeated what you said, with a little extra emphasis, but that was me thinking that exact thought for the same time, and completely agreeing.
In my first Blazer game I got autographs from Dale Schluter, Leroy Ellis and Geoff Petrie (their first year in existence). Probably got others as well but don't recall. Great memory and sealed the deal of me being a life-long Blazer fan (well, at least from that point onward). Gramps...
Elliot Williams and Batum give me hope for the future. And as bummed as I have been with them this year at times, I am always excited for the potential of our team to retool/rebuild and get better. As much fun as a winning team that makes championship runs would be, a consolation prize of seeing a young team develop is pretty good too.
I said something about the current team, lol. (But I rep'd you anyways) See above comment to BBert. Great post, wish I could rep you twice for it.
