They panned to him alot last night (I don't often get the Blazers broadcast on League Pass for some reason). Who is this dude and how long has he been around? INTENSE..kind of reminds me of Tyler Hansbrough or something.....pretty funny.
I saw him at the game last night. is he the self-proclaimed "free throw guy" if so, you cannot give yourself a nickname.
I have seen him back there for like the last 4-5 home games... im sure he just wears that shirt and wants to become a "staple" like the dancing lady and the blazer fan and etc...
Fill me in, someone - I don't have comcast and haven't noticed him at the last few games I went to. I heard a reference to him somewhere but didn't know what they were talking about.
It's a normal looking guy who wears a white t-shirt and jumps around like an idiot when the other team is shooting FT's. He is actually pretty entertaining from the comfort of my living room.....in a different state.
He sits close to me....I remember him from last year, so he's been around doing this for some time. I just noticed his shirt for the first time 2 games ago...looks like it's getting the attention he was hoping for.

Which end of the court - Paul Allen's end or the visitor's bench? The visitors usually shoot free throws at PA's end in the second half.
I actually think this guy does the right thing, and wish the entire crowd would start doing the same... He waits and doesn't do anything during the player's dribbling/setup routine. Then, at the last second when the shooter raises his eyes towards the hoop, "the free-throw guy" goes crazy. I think it would be much more difficult to shoot free throws if the entire crowd went crazy for the split second the shooter was looking for the rim in the middle of their shot. Let's start this at the Rose Garden!!
Section 117 I think... and the most entertaining/troubling thing for the people sitting around him with a clear view is the absolutely tortured reaction he has if he does not succeed in "causing" the miss. This guy is either in need of some help or is a great actor. Got tickets from stubhub earlier in season and got to experience his act in person. Would definitely buy tix in that section again for the great side show plus main event.
I like the idea of everyone standing absolutely still, then on cue, just as the player begins his shot, every single person in the end zone simultaneously takes one step to the left.
In high school our fans used to be super quiet, and then right as the player was going to release the ball 1 person would scream at the top of their lungs. It was extremely effective.
I love how focused he is. Just stares..then freaks out right when the player releases it. I want a shirt.
