    RHP - Masahiro Tanaka (1-0, 2.92 ERA)

    VS.

    LHP - Henry Owens (0-0, 8.10 ERA)

NOTES: Tanaka has been the victim of bad luck this season, giving up just two runs in each of his four starts but coming away with only a single victory.

NOTES 2: Entering Thursday Chase Headley had the second lowest OPS of any qualified position player, his .425 ahead of only the Braves Erick Aybar.

NOTES 3: The Yankees went into Thursday 27th in the MAJORS in runs scored and 24th in OPS.

    Lineups to follow.............

Headley & A-hole Drew are the current all around duds , but though others may have better "stats" the still fail with men on base. Tank will throw a good game but will the rest show up. Before the '13 season, Yankees and Red Sox, you'd be up for it. I'd say if the Yankees lose this and the Baltimore series the little geek of a GM best come up with a new plan. Yea h I know, back in '78 the Yankees were so low they had to look up to see down & they won it all. Character was a huge factor in that team, this group could only find character by looking in the dictionary.

Watching this team is as if I'm in a Time
Warp with memories of Hector Lopez and
Horace Clarke. Yankee times I'd like to forget, and then I see Chase Headley. Oye Vay!

Hey Cage, Lopez battered 262 as a Yankee & Clarke was a 257 hitter with the Yankees. I wish Headley was hitting that good.

My brother and I just had a funny conversation. We were discussing why the Yankees would build a bullpen like this so that they can have Chapman closing out 9-1 loses. That wasn't the funny part. We got amusement out of the idea that the Yankees should have Betances, Miller and Chapman pitch the first, second and third inning and then have the "starter" come in to go the rest of the way. I don't know why this was funny but we found it quite hilarious.

Castro should've had an inside the park homer there. I don't think he was running that hard out of the box.

Great job. Don't send him home on the triple but try to run on a ball not deep to left.
