shocked almost to see Gardner make the inning ending catch against the wall. Half the time, he turns those into adventures, falling all over himself....

C'mon Trashcan, leave The Chemist, Gahdnah (the next Rays Capt.), Tex for Longoria, even if ya' gotta' eat all their salaries, addition by subtraction......

    Arod 2 run blast -
    Yanks 3-0

    He mashed it.
Good to see a nice little bat flip after connecting on a no-doubter.

He just missed (timing) on the previous at bat.

No pun intended but the Yanks could use all the juice they can get..
He had on his "mean face" the moment after he hit it as if he were telling Archer- "hey sonny boy, don't try and slip a fastball down the middle AGAIN to me.
    lol

Why is tanaka out after 7 and 80 pitches giving up 2 hits and pitching a shutout. Mr overmanaging girardi at it again. Bullpen should have gotten a night off tonight.

The Bullpen will be burnt out by July no doubt. I don't get what he is doing this year other then being desperate for wins.

Headley is a basket case, you can sense the trepidation in every throw he makes and he's compounded it by forgetting how to hit!
Ackley better start shitting gold nuggets...soon.

...easy to second guess the manager, we all do it from time to time...but all I care about is another game in the "W" column.

Yep, this is a Girardi special. One of the "millions" of decisions the mgr makes which affects the team down the road.
And now the idiot has to use three relievers including the closer as Yates gives up a solo HR w/2 outs in the 9th creating a save situation.

A must win down the drain for the Yanx....

Losing a series to these clowns would deflate any ability to assess, this team's heart ...

I'm always glad to see the Yankees stick it to the local team but more so sticking it up Archers butt. Saw that twit being interviewed after the Cuba game. Little butt smoocher bragged about his conversing with the current occupant of the White House going on to say that Bro Barry complimented his (Archers ) work ethic. That interview was conducted after the Rays Players complained about the club house facilities there and sitting on a plane for six hours prior to take off. What the hell did they expect down there. Nice job by Tank this evening the man has pitched his a@@ off and deserves what wins he gets.

The Yankee starting pitching has been on a solid roll. It would be nice to see the offense consistently show up.

If Sevey were to get back from the DL and pitch like he did last season the Yankees would have a good 1,2,3. I might see Nova & CC as 4/5, out Pineda in the pen until he shapes up.

Girardi is notorious for over managing & I agree, the way he's pulling starters that are doing well after only 70-80 pitches the bullpen will be burnt out by July.
