To no great surprise, WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is picking fellow Brit and close personal friend WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 Ko’s) to beat IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) in less than two weeks on July 2nd. Froch thinks Haye will get to Wladimir early and stop him. But Froch also thinks Haye can win on points, a view that next to no one sees happening because of Haye’s limited boxing skills, short reach and poor experience at the heavyweight level.

I wish Froch could tell us how he expects Haye to win with him running around the ring all night long stinking up the joint. This fight isn’t taking place in the UK, so there won’t be any hometown decisions. If Haye wins, he’s going to have to earn the win and he can’t do that by running around the ring like a chicken with it’s head cut off.
