<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Frye Hopes Injury Will Improve His Mental Game 27th November, 2006 - 11:59 am The Journal News - Channing Frye had struggled at times this season and he hopes the 3-6 weeks he will miss due to a severe ankle sprain will help his mental game. In the previous three games, Frye was averaging 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds, appearing to reclaim his confidence. "I just have to use this as an opportunity to get better on the intellectual part of the game," Frye said in the locker room afterward.[READ]</div> What the hell is Frye talking about? Maybe he needs to stop thinking so much and just play basketball.

Basketball isnt just something you can do physically. If it was Stro would be a superstar. It takes thinking, quick thinking and intelligence. Steve Nash is great cause of his quick thinking. Its a very mental game.

The more you understand the game, the better you will be. That was one of the things that separated Jordan from everybody else... he was just on a higher level(s) than his competitors.I'm sure Frye will take this opportunity to study some tape, etc., but the confidence issue cannot be resolved until he is back on the court. That is something that will come with playing time and performance.

Stromile Swift is not good enough to be a superstar....he doesn't work on his game...It has nothing to do with intellectual difficulties...he just doesn't care.

Like Darius Miles. [IMG] Could be because HE'S ON A CRAP TEAM WITH A CRAP COACH AND HE NEEDS TO THINK OF A WAY TO GET HIMSELF TRADED.
