So far, this year, our best players by PER are, in order: Dante Cunningham, Jerryd Bayless, Brandon Roy, Travis Outlaw and Greg Oden. (Dante, btw - is having a historic 37.5 PER so far!) Travis's PER of 20.0 is the best of his career. Say what you want about a contract year - but he is starting this year on fire. If you look at TS% the same 5 appear, with the only difference being that the Greg Oden overtakes Brandon and Travis, for a DC, JB, Oden, Roy, Travis set. Looking at AST% - We have a surprise first place with JB, followed by Andre, Roy, Blake and Rudy. Our steal leaders based on Steal% are Rudy, Web, Travis, Blake and Miller. Block% looks like this: Greg, Joel (no surprise here), Outlaw, Howard, Web. Greg and Joel also lead us (negative) in turnover%, followed by Rudy, Blake and Howard. Blake is a surprise entry here - as he was very good before. I think the new role will probably see his turnovers go down. On the other hand, Bayless (if we ignore Dante's very short appearance) leads us in TOV% (the good kind - low), followed by Travis, Brandon and LMA. Usage% - Dante, Brandon, JB, Outlaw, LMA followed by Andre. I suspect Andre will rise with his new role. Our best players by offensive rating are Dante, JB, Roy, LMA and Travis. Our worst are Howard, Joel, Rudy, Greg and Miller. Our Best players by defensive rating are Greg, Joel, Rudy, Web and Outlaw. Surprised to see Rudy there, honestly. Worst are Dante, JB, Howard, Roy and Blake. By win-score, our leaders are Roy, LMA, Travis, Oden and Webster. Maybe we can run this unit some time for a super-big, super-strong unit. Wonder what it will look like... Anyway, small sample size, most of this data is useless, but still fun to see.
