What the hell is there to look foward to? The only young player on offense with Pro Bowl potential on our team is Ronnie Brown, and he just tore his knee. Maybe Ginn? But who knows?

It's really sad to see the downfall of this defense. There is no talent on that side of the ball. It's embarrassing when Will Allen is the most impressive player on that side of the ball.

Watching the Monday night game, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Miami. The elements were evening some things out on the field. With Pittsburgh's offense playing at the same speed as Miami's (slowed way down), it didn't matter. I think they are going to take 76 Tampa's title this year, all while their rival New England is putting up a perfect season. It has to make one sick to see it all going down this way.

Thats 6 losses by a FG or less....they are too close to lose every game....my gut feeling is 2 wins, but 1 is my personal goal....1 win keeps them off the historical lists and still allows them to pick 1st in April....I don't think the future looks grim though and here are some encouraging things I've noticed:

    1. John Beck has played 2 of the leagues most agressive blitzing defenses and didn't turn the ball over. The offense didn't score, but the game plan was very conservative, and the 2nd game was played in a quagmire....

    2. Ted Ginn has ridiculous physical tools. When his experience level starts to catch up with his talent, hes going to be a faster version of Steve Smith....

    3. The Dolphins will likely pick 1st overall and 4 times within the first 65 selections of the draft. If they trade the #1 pick, they could concievably pick 6 or 7 times in the top 100. Trading Jason Taylor or Zach Thomas may add additional picks.

    4. 6 losses by a FG or less means they aren't far away.

    5. Despite the record, they seem to play thier guts out every week. That makes me think Cam Cameron is exactly the right guy for the job.

    6. The O-line is young and developing. In my opinion, they are an elite LT from becoming a top-5 unit. Is that guy Jake Long?

    Future looks grim? really?

I agree w/ Beef. If Mueller can convince Dallas to trade up so they can get McFadden thena Chargers like resurgence is feasible.

Possible trade details: Miami gets Dallas' 2 #1's & Julius Jones for the #1 overall. Rationale: I read Julius is potential trade bait & would be an upgrade over Cobbs & Chatman. Hewould be an insurance policy if Brown is not ready.

Why would Dallas have 3 top shelf RB's? Further, Barber is used to rotating as is Ronnie.

    Keep Zach. Trade Taylor.

The OT from USC might be a possibility. I like how the fools on MNF mocked Hadnot for calling the unit the most improved. Just look @ Sacks allowed and rushing average this yr & last and tell there is not improvement.

I can see a scenario where the Cowboys lose the Super Bowl and Jerry Jones decides to go for it next season at all costs....under that scenario, I can envision a trade along the lines of Miami's #1(1st overall) and Jason Taylor for the Cowboys 2 #1s(say 20th and 31st), thier 2nd (63rd), a 2009 1st and 3rd rounders + Julius Jones....using the "chart", Dallas is ahead by 564 points before the players are factored in and JT is way more valuable than JJ....it may actually take Dallas giving up more though....
