Is the future more paul pierce or more al jefferson?</div> Jefferson just got out of high school. I think he will contribute right away, but he is still years away from being in his prime. For sake of conversation, let's assume, as I believe, that Jefferson will be a perrenial All-Star calibur player. I think that most of the potential talent on this team is closer to Al's age than Paul's. West, Banks, Perkins, Allen, Davis, Jiri, are all younger then Paul is. So I think that by the time they all develop, and Boston is a title contender, Paul will still be a great player and average close to 20 ppg, but he will be the great vet while the majority of the offese will be focused around Jefferson. Now if Danny can remain patient and stick with this roster, allow it to grow together. Deep, exciting teams like Dallas and Sac (maybe a couple years back) were not put together overnight, but the GM got a core together and kept it together for years. That's what I'd like to see with this club. If this happens, I see great things for them in the future.
