It was Fabregas' 10th goal of the season and further evidence of his importance to Arsène Wenger's side.
The 20-year-old has been a model of consistency since establishing himself in the Arsenal team following the departure of former skipper Patrick Vieira in 2004. Fabregas' current captain thinks he can be "the best" if he maintains his high standards and conserves his energy.
"To be the best, that means you have to be good during one season and the season has to be very long," said Gallas.
"Sometimes when he is tired perhaps he should know when not to play such a physical game. Sometimes when you are young you want to touch the ball too many times but he has to save his energy.
"But he can be the best player."

I think thats what he means. But he has the capability to do it andwith Wenger on hand with his help he can do it.

He'll never be close to Zidane. Just like there'll never be another Pele.
Zidane for what he did, and how special he was, he made a name for himself, and we'll probably never see another player at that level.

I don't think he'll have the Skill of taking on players that Zidane had. But for Passing vision he will be better.

I love Cesc but again he'll never be on that league of Zidane, Pele, etc.
For example, Messi will be close to them, Ronaldinho is close right now, Cesc doesn't have the skills (like you said) that we see Messi going crazy on the pitch taking 5 players and still scoring. You're either born with that or not.
Cesc will be better than Henry. That I can agree with.

You just don't realise it because R'dinho scores amazing goals yet Henry scores Good goals and occasionally amazing goals but he gets more then R'dinho.
And it would be unfair to Compare Henry and Cesc as they are completely different players. If you are on about the impact each had/has on the team then probably cesc as he likely to be the captain of Arsenal one day as Titi was. A CM is the most important outfield player as he keeps the team togehter and generally it's either a CB or a CM that is captain because they are in the middle of the pitch more then most. Also Cesc is now Scoring more. He has already doubled last years tally and lets say his form stays about the same and he doesn't get any really bad injuries then he is easily capable of getting 35 goals in all competitions. He already has 10 goals in 15. So for a CM that is very good and better then Both Gerrard and Lampard acheived at just the age of 20. Lampard was still at West shambles and Stevie G was emerging through the ranks at Liverpool. Now i have already admitted the Zidane had a better ability at taking players on and using amazing footwork. Cesc has a good skill at taking players on but no where near Zidanes capabilities. But for Vision and Passing Cesc is among the worlds best and only 20. He is up there with Pirlo, R'dinho, Gerrard etc. My friends laughed at me when Arsenal won the Emirates title and i said 'Arsenal could be challenging for the title' and 'Cesc will out perform Ronaldo this season' So far I have Rubbed it in all their faces as much i can. Sorry to go on lol i have just seen the length of this post. Nothing against you CK of course just giving my general thoughts on this discussion

I think were comparing players in diffrent positions, fabregas was not meant to be an attacking midfielder, he's more of a playmaker, passer, but since theres been alot of opportunities to score, he has taken them and scored. Ronaldhino and Fabregas is not a fair comparison, they are fairly diffrent players.
You can compare Zidane and Ronaldhino, since both were attacking mids, but I dont think theres any question, that zidane is the best of the 2 in their prime.
Henry andRonaldhino is also not a fair comparison, diffrent position.
