I say we pull the trigger and get our point guard

    Kirk Hinrich- PG

    In exchange, we give

    Raef Lafrentz
    1st round pick- unprotected

Chicago gets some salary cap relief and maybe a late lottery pick. they clear space at the 1. If they like, we can give them their choice of our point guards (except Bayless) in exchange for Tyrus thomas.

We get a point guard that can do a better job with the Tony Parkers.

That will be a bad trade when that 1st round pick is a lottery pick.

I don't think it will. Not that it won't be a lottery pick (it very well might be), but I think that Hinrich could be much more valuable to this team than another late lottery pick.

Of course, I'm not a huge Hinrich fan, but IF Pritchard thinks he'd be a marked upgrade then I think this kind of deal makes sense.

Don't see the Bulls selling so low on Kirk. He had one bad year. His contract isn't bad either. 1 more pick, or good young talent makes it more plausible.

We would have to add someone like Bayless on top for them to make that trade... and probably take a contract. Raef and a 1st isn't enough, imo.

I like Kirk a lot but his trade value isn't where it used to be and shouldn't warrant a 1st rounder.

Funny- the responses are split between saying I'm offering too much or not enough. Truth be told, I think we might be able to get him cheaply because of Rose.

Actually, they won't trade KH until Ben Gordon is signed next year.
