at the half, lakers up 66-52 with 28 pts (12-16 shooting) coming from kobe.

definitely seeing the whole package with the corner series pick & roll by shaq & kobe, and also kobe's finger lobs.

Probably waiting on the Sixers/Hornets game. Last time I looked Wolves came back and were down by 5.

Lakers win 117-98. I watched all of the game except for the first quarter. Shaq and Kobe both had 30+ points. If Kobe had one more point then 4 players so far would have had 40+ points this weekend.

kobe and shaq might be too much for the twolves one man show. the better teams in the conference tho might be a different story

I wanted the Timberwolves to destroy the Lakers hope of being in the 2nd round, but I guess destiny can't face the truth [IMG] , of course my brother on the other hand was saying, "My man Kobe winning it for the Lakers!" *Sighs* ...

the lakers played great in the 1st half and did a nice job of closing out the T-Wolves, after a 3rd Q run by KG and Co. The Lakers were solid from downtown and their defense contested most of the shots the T-Wolves took, something I've been waiting to see all season. it's too bad the t-wolves have to face the lakers after the hard work they put in to get home court advantage. kg and hudson played well, but the t-wolves just don't have what it takes to beat an elite team like the lakers in the post-season. i think the t-wolves will be lucky to get 1 game. pretty scary to lose by almost 20 points at home in the first game, especially after not having success in prior years. the t-wolves are probably defeated mentally already.

kobe did an excellent job of hitting his open teammates in the first few minutes. and with everyone hitting their 3s, that just opened up the D for kobe to wreak havoc. i love it

i don't think that there is anyway that the twolves can stop shaq and the lakers. if they somehow stop shaq, kobe will go wild, or vice versa. they are just too much for the twolves. tough break for kg, he finally gets home court and he has to face the 3 time defending champions. [IMG]
