Agreed, but I think it is less about Igor, and more about no goalie is worth that much. I would argue even $11M is pushing it, but I would do that to allow Igor to hit 11 and get 500 K per above Price. While goalie is the most important position, you can get good solid goalies that are capable of winning playoff rounds, and winning a Cup, without paying $10M + per. Drury really needs to think about the impact on putting together a deep balanced team if he goes crazy for Igor and gives him more than $11M, which I personally think is too much already, while acknowledging I would bite the bullet and do it for the reasons mentioned.Igor is not worth 12 million.
Agreed again. You cannot play these two guys together. I think this pairing is way too slow and lacks the mobility to be a good mix. Hopefully Lav either moves Schneider with Lindgren or goes back to Lindgren/Fox and Miller/Trouba. He should not keep Lindgren/Trouba together for long IMO.Lindgren/Trouba might be the worst d pairing in the entire NHL.
