I can't believe the sh*t I seen tonight. Please excuse my French, mods and admins, but I'm pissed. We had a ten point lead with like two or three minutes left in the game and we just watched it dissolve. Just like that. We had so much opportunites to get back the lead, but...hell, I ain't even gotta say it. How I wish it woulda been Peja who shot that three instead of Christie. Webber had a good game tonight, but when it came down to those damn two free throws......well, he's never been a good free throw shooter anyway, but I don't care if you shoot 14% from the line, when it comes to those critical free throws in crunch time you absolutely, positively have to MAKE THEM.
Well, the series is going to Sacramento now. Being that Game 2 was a big emotional blow for us, Game 3 is a must win.

Yea, one of the worst game finishes I've ever seen in my lifetime. Horrible plays drawn up by Adelman. I question his coaching credibilities now.

This is when you need to have an inside game and get some high percentage shots. I was very suprised that Adelman didn't call any time outs to set up a set play. The Kings had this game, this series at their finger tips but let the Wolves back in it with a game 2 heart breaking loss.

:shakehead I agree in that it was mostly our fault for letting the T'wolves come back and win it, but I disagree with your statement blaming Rick Adelman :shakehead. I used to think it too, but the fact is, he has been a great coach, and sure, sometimes he's made some bad decisions, but so has every other coach. He has made the kings into the team they are. He has somehow been able to incorporate Webber back into the team - everybody blamed him, saying that he should just sit out Webber when Kings finished terribly in the regular season and fell to 4th; however, he stuck with Webber, knowing that the Kings needed him if they were going to win the championship; he knew that Webber was the strongest player on the team, and that he can't just sacrifice this valuable player. Webber nearly scored a triple-double at HALFTIME in game 2 against the Mavs, something he is definetely capable of doing, but only with the help of Adelman. When playing against the Lakers late in the season, Adelman was able to come up with a plan to render Kobe almost useless.

To put all the blame on Adelman, or on any one person for the loss is really not fair. The whole team is responsible - they were the ones out on the court. Adelman did NOT tell them to give up or let off their guard. It was the players who did.

Finally, one has to also credit the T'Wolves for the comeback. Cassel made some big shots, Garnett made some crucial stops, and overall, they kept the Kings at bay and made some hard shots.

Yeah while the Wolves were scoring on the Kings, fhe Kings were hoisting three's.C-Webb had a good game but the medi can never see that,I know he isnt as explsive as he was but I think he has gotten some of his game back.So Game 3 will see how they respond to this breakdown.

None of these games are going to be blowouts - we'll just get that out of the way in this post. This is a series that will probably go 6-7 games with each team winning at least one if not more games on the road because that's what Championship teams need to do to win an NBA title. The Wolves snuck one in under your belts because we never gave up, never thought the game was over and played with a sense of urgency those last 4 minutes. Yes, the Kings shot horribly those last few minutes, but of those shots, how many were solid looks at the hoop w/out a T-Wolf in their face?

Also, you can't take away the T-Wolves success at Arco this past season. We played you guys well there all year long (winning both games) but *BOTH* games were so close that it came down to who wanted it more in those last few minutes. These games are entertaining for both sides and I am excited to see how this series turns out.
