It's just five minutes into the game, and the Spurs already have a double digit lead because of Mike Brown. LeBron James picked up two early fouls, and Brown took him out of the game. You've got to have more faith in your superstar than that. He's a one-man team, and it's showing more than ever with him on the bench.

It's sad that Mike Brown has coattailed into the finals, because that'll probably afford him a certain degree of job security, but he needs to be canned. I can handle playing Daniel Gibson over Shannon Brown to an extent, but then benching LeBron James in the most critical stretch of the season because he's picked up just two fouls?

Not to mention the way they're playing Parker is way too lax. He's tearing them apart on both ends of the floor.

The Cavs have seriously made this the worst Finals ever. Even a Piston/Spurs Finals would be more interesting. I guess we should just fast-forward to Lebron holding the trophy, right Lostmyluggage? The Cavs are probably going to get blown out yet again, with another bad game by Lebron. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this Finals series was a clean 4-0 sweep. It's this bad for the Cavs right now

As much as i will hate to see the Spurs win the Cavaliers are not giving it a fight to win and losing by double digit points it seems like the Spurs are going to sweep the Cavaliers. And that totally sucks...[IMG]

I wanted to punch my TV screen at times during this game, some of the decisions were stupid, the players were awful and nothing went their way. Not that they deserved it, leaving players with wide open threes, not guarding Parker practically at all and leaving Duncan open at times. It was just ridiculous. The Cavs, to be honest, deserve to be swept.

Watching the game made me wonder how the Cavs even got to the Finals. They were pathetic on both ends of the floor until the fourth when the Spurs got a little complacent (can you blame them, they were up 27). If the Cavs don't find a way to get Lebron going and get others involved early, this could be a clean sweep. Also, why aren't you guys starting Daniel Gibson? He's the only person on your team hitting jump shots, yet he sits the bench? Doesn't make sense to me, especially when outside shooting has been the big weakness in the Finals.

It's the curse of "veteran leadership." Coaches, especially coaches who maybe aren't all that good at making adjustments, or at actually managing their players, invariably will sacrifice ability for perceived savvy. It's why a guy like Larry Hughes got minutes in the last two games. The idea is, "well, Larry's injured, but Larry on one leg is better than the rest of my options!"

Truthfully, though, it won't be Mike Brown's fault when Tim Duncan has another trophy in his cold, steely grip. The Cavaliers just aren't good enough. They slipped into the finals by beating a team that played hard with nothing, a team that played hard with some mismatched parts, and a team that played soft despite having all the needed pieces. I honestly can't think of another NBA Finals matchup as badly slanted as this. Never has a team looked so completely overwhelmed as the Cavs.

It's the perfect storm, NBA style, and the Cavaliers aren't gonna get those fish back to shore.
