Freidouche talking about Kreider, Trouba and others possibly being on the move.

    Isn't Kreider on a NMC/NTC?

Kreider is the issue? Hmmm.....will be interesting to see if this comes to pass.

Limited no trade clause. Maybe they figure the only way to get Zibanejad to leave is by moving Kreider.

First thing is to find a taker for Lindgren. Give them a Korczak or 5th rounder to eat his salary. I can't see them trading Kreider, then they have no net presence at all, plus he's not an issue. Trouba would have to agree plus find a team not on his NTC, plus he's the captain and went through that whole thing this off-season, so it doesn't seem likely during the season. They're in a tough spot without alot of moveable parts right now.

They’re not gonna have to give up anything extra to get rid of Lindgren. I actually think they’ll get a good return for him as a rental. I kind of figured Kreider would retire as a lifelong Ranger. I think they want to build Cuylle as the next guy in front of the net.

Maybe they bite the bullet on Miller or Kakko. Both are underachievers but young enough to thrive in a different situation perhaps. You could maybe help replenish a little draft capital too along with getting players to help now.

Kakko is excellent defensively and at 25 to 30 he should be 40 to 55 point score even without power playtime. No reason to move him. He also plays well with Cuylle and Chytil. He seems to be pretty good at faceoffs and they’re toying with moving him to center. I don’t think that’s going to be his spot, but the face off ability is a plus.

I think any player on the team should be available outside of Lafreniere, Cuylle, Schneider, and Trocheck. I think Chytil has to stay because he won't have any real value due to concussions (unless you can dump his salary), and given his contract I can see keeping Kakko, but if some team really wanted him, I wouldn't let Kakko be a deal breaker. Kakko should be a solid 3rd line winger for a long time, just don't count on him to score 25 + goals and be a big scorer. If he is in the right spot in the lineup with the right expectations, he can be a value-add player at both ends of the rink.

As for Kreider, and every player on the team, I view it differently. I don't think the question is, is Kreider/any specific player the problem, I think the question should be is Kreider/any specific player the solution. I guess the way I am looking at things in general is this team is going nowhere. Everything should be on the table to try and move the team forward, including being bold and taking some risks. I believe that is the prism we should be viewing this team through now.

I also disagree that the Rangers don't have a lot of movable parts. They have to work around some limited NTC's and other clauses, but there is value. Dealing what is left on Lindgren's deal this season should be zero issue at all, the Rangers absolutely can get a pick for him. Even Trouba with only one year remaining is very movable, even if that one has to wait until after the season. The Rangers have players contenders would want for sure.

I could see Anaheim as their trading partner, with Zegras, Vatrano and Doumalin.

Zegras is so overvalued by that moron Verbeek it’s mind-boggling. He hasn’t been good in a long time. Miller has to go. He’s not a fit here. Zibanedouche is the guy most needed to hit the road but he’s such a jerk off he won’t accept a trade. Trouba is right there with him.

Drury was probably hoping he could get one more year out of this veteran core. Doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen.

Why the fuck is Lafreniere on the left point when he’s a lefty shot so he can’t one time it. This coach is a moron.

Kakko our best forward by far in the first.

Cuylle throws more hits in a shift than Kreider does in a season.

He created that goal with his forechecking.

Miller is easily the worst defenseman in the league getting a shot through to the net.
