The Celtics' hardest stretch of games is coming up and I'm so excited! Five nights, four games, hours of countless fun. It's going to be a rough road trip, but I'm hoping that this is the one that will shut all the doubters up, at least for a while. The Kings, after losing their game vs the Celtics on the 12th, went 3-1 the rest of their five game road trip. Their most recent loss was a nail biter vs the Nuggets, where Denver prevailed 106-105. It's going to be a good one, especially considering the Celtics have not won in Sacramento in nearly 12 years! Let the road trip begin!
This should to be a tougher game than records indicate, but I'm REALLY hoping the C's can prove me wrong and pull away with another blowout win. The starters need as much rest as possible, with us going into Seattle tomorrow night to play their extremely fast-paced team. We need to shovel the ball into KG and get him going early. Each and every Sacramento big man is a softie. KG needs to pound it into their chests and kick things off with a loud one-handed slam, followed by a scream. I'd love to see that. Also, Rajon should absolutely kill Udrih on both ends.
This was such an odd game. The first quarter was extremely sloppy at both ends, and we absolutely dominated the 2nd quarter (went on a 35-5 run at one point). We played our worst 12 minutes of basketball all season long in the 3rd, then we put it away in the 4th. The C's were too "on again, off again" tonight. Garnett was terrific, Eddie House was terrific, Posey was terrific. Paul was terrific defensively. Most of all, that Sacramento fan behind Mike Gorman was entertaining all night long. I hope we play more consistent basketball tomorrow night in Seattle, who can light it up at home if we aren't careful. They are also A LOT tougher inside than Sac, so I think that will play a big role.

I don't see why Doc keeps going to Allen (Tony), the guy keeps proving again and again that right now he shouldn't be in the NBA. He was the only guy on the court with a negative +/-, in a blowout win! Anyone notice the 35-5 run was when Tony was taken out? Also where is Big Baby? Why don't we have a rotation yet?
