One of the biggest problems I see is Fox and Kreider do not make anything happen on the pp. Everything side to side with one timers that rarely work anymore. No rebounds generated.
A win is a win, and you don't apologize for wins, but that was not a very inspiring performance against a very bad struggling team. That win did nothing to make me think the Rangers are ready to win some games.
Mika actually scored on the PP with a wrist shot instead of the over windup and whiff. It might have taken an empty net but Fox finally got a goal. It's amazing how many times the Rangers failed to clear the zone with weak one handed pokes or they blast the puck out for an icing, cost Igor a shutout.
