The should have brought Robertson up. If they don't play him soon, he will have no trade value and they will ruin his career.

I don't know how the rest of this game will go, but that goal for the Kings tells you all you need to know. This team has become a total disaster in every way, and these players should be utterly embarrassed, how that turns into a 2 on 1 is disgraceful and lazy, but it happens all the time.

Drury needs to get off his a** and deal away some of these fat cat players for future assets. This season is not salvageable, and Drury needs to understand and go through a quick reboot for next season and beyond. Enough already.

We all know Drury is useless and terrible at his job, but at some point, he needs to have a come to Jesus moment and understand the embarrassing disaster this team is, and it's getting worse not better. This season is over, nothing will change what this team is for this season. It is time to accept that fate and make moves for the future. It happens in the NHL where a season gets away from you, and that's it (look at the Devs last season). What we are seeing now is pathetic in every way, and to sit around watching it any longer is ridiculous.

And BTW, I get it Sam and Joe will spin positive as they work for the team, but it's like they live in another world with how they talk. The team is awful, stop acting as if it's anything else other than that. And I'm not judging them for it, again they have to play that role working for the team, but it is sickening to listen to the BS spin when we all see the reality.

Fire drury and lav after this game. They’ve ruined the team with their non moves and handling of players

Honestly I would just start trading older players tank this season and perhaps be able to draft the young center that doesn’t suck

Looking at the next 8 games including this one whether we tank or not we’ll be lucky to go 2-6. Season is over. Fire drury and get a GM in here that knows how to trade for players

It’s a lost season. Have to get rid of a couple of more fat cats that clearly have no desire to win.

Trade Fox. Immediately. He will be useless soon enough and gotta get him out of here before that NTC kicks in.

As I've been saying for weeks now, sell sell sell. The worst part is Drury is not equipped to understand the reality of the situation, and even if he did, I have very little faith he can/will make the right moves. Knowing how clueless he is, I bet he tries to salvage the season with a bad win this year trade instead of retooling for next season.

What a S show this has turned into. Again, while they are worse than even I imagined, this was all very predictable once Drury decided to make the team worse over the summer and keep the same stale core together. This horrific season was locked in once those decisions were made.

I would say everything should be on the table right now. One may say unfortunately, certain players cannot be moved due to NMC's, and maybe there are 2 or 3 players sort of off limits, but Drury should be looking at everything to change this team moving forward. Even the guys with NMC's I would talk to about accepting trades, and the 2 or 3 guys you might naturally say are off limits, I wouldn't be afraid to trade in the right deal.

Try and get a few 3rds for Smith and Lindgren for starters.

Also, Igor has been subpar since that new deal. Very unsurprising. Since he’s signed that new deal we’ve lost with him starting to Chicago, barely hung on to be Buffalo and got embarrassed against LA. Bad start to an atrocious contract.

Didn't watch more than a few minutes of the 1st period but here is my reality for this team. Shesterkin is regressing to his mean...he started off this year absolutely bailing this team out on a consistent basis...that was not sustainable and what is happening now is in no way a reflection of his ability/skills. He is the real deal and with even mediocre+ defense can be a difference maker in the playoffs.
The defense is irresponsible from top to bottom. It wasn't this way in years past and I think you have to question what type of system Housley is espousing here. The defensemen shouldn't be pinching at the frequency they have been because the 3rd forward in isnt getting back reliably to cover the gap. This is a defensive system failure through and through. Lav seems to have lost the team but the defensive coach is just as culpable and if they make a change at HC, they have to get rid of Housley as well. He cannot be kept under any circumstance.
Really disheartening to see such a dramatic and expeditious collapse. For as far as they went last season to regress to where they are now is an indictment on the GM for make the wrong moves in the off-season.
Get rid of Drury. Get rid of Laviolette. Get rid of Housely. This is not a cup contending team and is more than a couple tweaks away from it. Look for a fresh start in 2025.
