How about this: I'll sell excellent lower level seats for a potential fourth home game in the NBA finals - for $50 each. That's right folks - it's probably better than lottery odds. What are the odds that the Blazers actually get to the NBA finals, and if they do, that they have HCA and take it to a game seven? Then figure what these sweets seats will be worth IF the game is played. I think that's better than buying a lottery ticket, but that's just me. I can hand you the cardboard tickets upon payment.
I'm not too down with spending money on highly unlikely events...seems like a rip off considering the fact the Blazers would obviously sweep in the finals...also the fact that they'd have home court seems a bit of a long shot /impossiblity, eh
Right . . . it was a joke. Plus my girlfriend thought it was bad karma to even consider giving them away. But hey, we're sitting there at the game last night looking at this thick envelope with tickets - four games in each round, thinking how ridiculous, or at least far-fetched, it is. Heck, we know there won't be four home games in the first round because we don't have HCA, so even if we win the series we'll play three or less at the RG. And yet, I have four tickets for the first round . . .and every round through the NBA finals.
I got the joke (hence my sweep the finals comment) I did actually see someone on Craig's List selling their whole book of tickets for a pair in the red section I believe, all the way through the finals, for $600...
