Arsenal will have the benefit of a returning Laurent Koscielny, may or may not have Kieran Gibbs, and will be without Mikel Arteta for their big Saturday fixture against Chelsea at The Grove. Arsenal sit five points ahead of Newcastle and the scum, but both teams have a game in hand, meaning a loss by the Gunners this weekend could put us out of third place with precious few points left to play for. Chelsea have managed 11 of 18 points in their last six games, and are an exceedingly mediocre team away from Bridge, managing a record of just 6W 6L and 5D.
Well you disappeared into the Oracle mainframe like TRON, didn't know if you'd be back. Had to hold it down in the meantime.
Arteta is out, to be replaced by Ramsey, and Benayoun is out because of league loan rules, with either Rosicky or AOX taking his spot. People are down on Ramsey, myself included. He is slumping, like Gervinho (perhaps not as bad since his work rate is higher). He'll come around.
Not much to say about that one. Chelsea weren't into the game and we didn't press until the last twenty minutes. Looking like the season could finish with a three-way tie for third with GD sorting the teams out.
Sp*rs just shit the bed. Our magic number countdown to St Totteringham's day is 7 from the remaining three games, or 6 with a better goal differential. However, the Maggies are rolling in purple right now. They'll be even with us if they beat Wigan. Our goal differential is much better (+13). Our magic number with them is 9 if we keep ahead on goals--meaning we need to win all three games and still won't be certain to finish in third.
