Comments from the game: Best one I've been to since the post Hakeem era. The second quarter was insane. Did you guys hear the "Kobe Sucks" chants, or did ABC cut to commercials? Lakers game out blazing in the 2nd, but great to see the Rockets show some heart and come send the game into overtime after trailing by 14 at one point in the third. Jim Jackson played insane, hitting key basket after key basket while the rest of the Rockets were slumping. Yao Ming committed some stupid fouls but him being on the bench really set the tone for Francis stepping up and the Rocket comeback. Final posession of the game - why didn't Cato or Jim Jackson call a timeout after rebounding Steve's airball? The scoreboard showed the Rockets still had 1 TO left... That was stupid. Then came overtime. Rockets were leading by 4 with posession, and things pretty much went downhill from there. The Rockets of the old returned - somebody makes dumb foul on Malone, Francis throws away the ball, Lakers get offensive rebound to seal the deal. #@$@#% I can't believe the Lakers stole this one. Rockets played really well, had a great strategy but Malone kept hitting those outside shots and Kobe came in clutch at the end. Let's hope they can push this series to 6 games atleast.
Dude i feel your pain too, for that francis airball then Cato rebounds, why didnt Cato put the ball up, he seems to be open, at least he can draw a foul from Shaq or Malone. And Yao's 5th and 6th foul are so dump, if i see shaq under the basket with the ball and he is about to DUNK the ball and i know that i am the best player on the team and i have 4 foul already. I will not touch him, just let him dunk, at least Yao wont get foul out in the game.
Yeah, I loved this game and thought the Rockets played with a lot of pride and energy...I think they should've made better decisions at the end of regulation in terms of shot selection, but they have a solid game plan and other players besides shaq and kobe are beating them...cant do nothin about that...if they had only three future HOFamers instead of 4, this series would be ours easily...but its not over yet by any means...
