All that room for Trochek, could've taken it to the backhand.

We deserved the win in this one! And stole the puck from Hughes for the final rush and goal makes it sweeter. Rangers good luck charm Rempe is now 17-4-1

Rempe was a defensive liability in this game. Carrick has had a hell of a season when you factor in his faceoffs.

Carrick of all people. They need to pick up more players like kaliyev. We'll see. More bruising big straight line hockey players who shoot the puck and don't play with their nuts on the perimeter like some current rangers players.

Rempe's terrible. Carrick could have decent trade value if they go that route.

Let’s hope wins like this don’t make Drury think this team is in gold shape and just needs minor tweaks.

Grevy, no offense but you would know the definition of worry if you'd played any kind of contact sport and the other team had a guy like Rempe makes you keep your head on a swivel, that's the beauty of him, he's a cheap distraction. Matt was the ice for under 8 minutes, 4 hits no penalties and another win with him in the Rangers lineup. 3-1-1 in last 5 with moves to come? Rangers radio broadcast team does a great job, not just saying that because I have Cablevision.

The other team has no fear of Rempe now Porter. Get a fucking clue. His teeth have been pulled. You will be lucky if he throws a big hit the rest of the season. He generates no offensive zone pressure when he's out there. Only thing he might deter is other teams taking a run at one of the skill guys. Otherwise, he's completely useless now thanks to dipshit Parros.

I totally agree with you about Parros and his fast tracking of Rempe's discipline when compared to guys like Gudis and Wilson Dump but I think Matt's improved from last year and worth more than 23 games of evaluation, until the Rangers start losing with him in the lineup he's the perfect 4th liner. The NHL and unfortunately, too many Rangers fans are content with letting guys like Wilson pummel and usually injure the premier Blueshirt players to only receive a slap on the wrist if there's even a hearing. Reaves filled the same role effectively a few years ago, nobody was expecting him to blossom offensively.

Porter, with all due respect you would have a better understanding of worry and preparation if you ever lead a group of people. There is no chance any coaching staff or team in the NHL goes into their film room in advance of a game with the New York Rangers and dedicates more than 20 seconds on how to handle Matt Rempe if he is in the lineup It does not happen.

And again...I'm glad Rempe is in the lineup...he is a deterrent for the opposition, he seems like a good kid who loves the game. As long as he continues to do what he did last night (play around 7 minutes, stay out of the box, be a looming threat for retribution on rough play) then I would love to see him every game!

Quite a stretch to assume you know my professional background from a couple of sentences in a post, hope you're not a fortune teller by trade, just answered the question you asked. Curious what kind of inspirational picture would fit best with "worry and preparation" - perhaps a boy scout chewing his fingernails?

Just as easy a leap as it was for you to assume my sports/competition background I suspect! Whatever though, it's irrelevant. However I will say, you are right in that Rempe's presence DOES change how some opposing players handle themselves when he is in the lineup. I just don't think teams go out of their way to game-plan against him.
