I'll be interested in seeing whether Mohammed gets the start. Thibodeau sure seemed to get tired of Nazr in a big ass hurry last night. I'm thinkin' that both Deng and Gibson get carried off on their shields tonight.
Nate, Butler, Taj, Rip, Deng. Belinelli, Teague, and Cook are the bench. Yikes. Surely we could have done better with the vet minimum than Radman and Nazr.
I'm in awe. These crippled Bulls just plain abused the Hawks at their place. Gibson, Deng, Robinson and Butler were magnificent. Bravo!
This made me laugh. If Nazr can't get any burn now he never will. No joke, I honestly think Thibs will play Deng heavy minutes at C before Nazr. And no joke, I can't say I blame him.
This was a surprise win. Not the really the win but the way they dominated the Hawks in this game without Rose, Boozer, Noah and Hinrich.
Hell, I'd've been surprised by the win if it had been by a point. In fact, you can put me down for being surprised by any win when Rose, Noah, Boozer and Hinrich are in street clothes.
Yeah, when you're one of only two centers on the team, the other center is out and you get a "DNP-Coach's decision," you are being SERIOUSLY dissed.
I also expected a loss, but I could see the possibilty of a win after the good game against the Nets.
In all honesty, what are the chances that Dikembe could play decent defense for 15 minutes a game? I recall he was still pretty good at it even when he retired.
It's never been clear to me what the idea was behind signing Cook, unless he's a replacement for someone who hasn't been traded yet.
I was making a joke. Mutombo is doing GEICO commercials now. He was decent when he retired. Decent for a guy his age, certainly. I seem to remember he refused a trade to the Bulls before ending up in Houston. The joke is that I'd equally fear having to play Mutombo meaningful minutes at this point in his life. I actually liked Nazr fine, a few seasons ago.
