Offend? Seriously? You didn't offend anyone. If they are offended then that is their problem. I did this last year during the slump and it worked then also.
@Jade Falcon used to do an "Otherside" thread. Started out just looking for the cry babies after big wins but quickly it became apparent the sites were all loaded with the exact same kind of negative "Fire the Coach" "Run the GM outta town" type posts from a few very vocal posters trying to take over threads. They also all have their whipping post. Around here this year it's been bouncing around a bit. Tolliver/Bazemore and of course Mario now. CJ always gets his haters. It was Meyers for years around here. Every site has their trigger man.

To get to 7th we would need to pick up 8 games on OKC over the space of 32 games. Even if they slump and only play .500 the rest of the way, we would have to play .750 to catch them!

With this 51 point game tonight, Lillard moves into 3rd place on the NBA scoring leaders board:
    1. J Harden, 35.6
    2. G Antetokounmpo, 30.0
    3. D Lillard, 29.8
    4. T Young, 29.0

Will Lillard catch Antetokounmpo for second soon? Does he have a chance to catch Harden by the end of the season?

    upload_2020-2-1_23-51-29.png

At this point, I wouldn't bet against Lillard.

Another option is to root for Denver to catch Lakers for the #1 seed and then have our 8 seeded Blazers send them out on another early summer vacation. Meet Jazz or Rockets in the second round and then meet an LA team back in the WCF.

I got a chuckle out of that too! I can tell you what teams are okay to watch in losses... ANYONE but the team you're rooting for!

There are reasons to be optimistic. After tonight's great victory, I'm a believer again. Our starting lineup is getting it done. Exit Biggie, enter Nurk for the second unit will be huge. Also, if we can add a veteran PG to take Simons' minutes I think that would be super underrated. I still believe in Simons, but not so much this season. There will be players available in the buyout market later in the season. I think Trent and Little need to continue to get minutes. Stotts needs to stop shying away from playing Little in the second half of these games. Glad he stayed away from Mario tonight.

Dont see how we acquire a 3rd guard without trading Whiteside.

Buy out candidates. Every season bad teams cut good veterans ala Enes Kanter. Darren Collison, Iggy, Jeff Teague, DJ Augustin, etc. Can't we offer than most with the injury exception earned from Rodney Hood?

And there's also sections of all fanbases who think coaches are solid, and thinks coaches are good, and thinks coaches are great....

"A team with HCA right now has some fans that don't like their coach, obviously their wrong, and therefore, the fans who don't like our coach are wrong too!"

    So dumb.

Dame said he is paying attention to hydration, getting massage, sleeping better. Little Dame is old enough now to sleep through the night.

Whatever he's doing, massage, sold his soul, who cares, just keep doing it.

It's possible considering AD's health issues throughout his career.

Also, Denver has a trade to make for a star which will act as a double edged sword for us if successful.

The floor actually opens up when the guys around Lillard are making their shots.

As the Jazz commentator said about Little's shot after Dame was doubled: "There was nothing 'Little' about that shot".:drevil:

I like how he was so into it that the ref had to point out he needed to get in line for the free throw.
