Flames have been playing good hockey since their trade.

Edstrom I guess is playing. I liked him a lot in camp two years ago. I think they want him to be there a new Boyle in some aspects. Boyle was an excellent face-off guy and obviously had a lot of college success scoring, but I think Edstrom has potential.

It also could be a sign that they are looking at moving Goodrow.

The Calgary goalie made about four stupid good saves that period.

Saw some trade rumor of Kakko to LA for Kaliyev and Turcotte.

The winning streak continues. The Igor of old hopefully is here to stay.

It's time the coaching staff reduces Fox's ice time at even strength and Schneider more. Honestly, Schneider should be put with Lindgren on the first defensive unit. Fox should be moved to the third. Fox should play the entire 2 minutes on the PP and a lot less even strength minutes. He's knocked down on the puck constantly this year. Either his weight training and fitness is not up to par or this is what you are going to get.

He isn't very good in the defensive zone. I wonder if that injury he had is still affecting him some too. He looks like he wants no part of any kind of contact. He must have Miller-itis.

Vezina Igor was back last night, even took a SOG late and another nice game for Kakko, seeing all these prospects coming up must have lit a fire under his ass!. Watching Miller go end to end at the end of a long shift and put a strong SOG is a perfect example of why I keep K'Andre and look to move Fox. There is no legal weight program to bulk Fox up, he's the same size he was on draft day. He's never going to be a physical presence but his offense is elite for a dman, a trade would bring huge return for a guy Gorton picked up for 2 #2s.

Yeah. He has looked like shit since his injury. Of course the coach keeps playing him 20+ minutes a night.

lol Drury will sign these scrubs and they will waive them in the middle of the season. Rinse and Repeat. The only one who has worked out is Vesey

Drury didn't have a lot of cap space to work with and still signed Quick who has been ridiculous, Gustafsson was an excellent signing for $825k and I still think Wheeler will be a great postseason addition for $800k. After Laf all he could afford were sub $800k players but I'm encouraged by the call ups of Edstrom and Rempe.. I'm not so down on Drury, he's certainly no worse than Gorton or Sather.
