since milwaukee won in atl yesterday, we had no chance. only one small market team allowed to pull off an upset (other than the nba darling spurs of course)
Roller coaster of a season here... I hope the Blazers make a couple moves this summer to keep things interesting. We'll get them next year!!
We totally had a chance to win this game if Nate hadn't fucked it up. I wish he had the balls to tell Roy NO.
Nice to notice that when the series was on the line, Miller was OUT. Nate doesn't like him, doesn't want him around. We would've won this game with Camby's rebounding but that guy is to old and beat up. Terrible trade, terrible signing. We're getting older and older and still no first round win. Hey- this is what Andre Miler does every fucking year. Win game 1, lose in 6. We got what we paid for. Veteran leadership from a guy who has never gotten it done.
Are you serious? Andre Miller and Marcus Camby are two of the biggest reasons we even got to where we were. We were a team that wasn't healthy since Day 1 of this year, we lost our two centers, our superstar hasn't been 100% since the All-Star Break at least, and we were outmatched by a Suns team with more playoff experience, better shooting, and all-around better basketball play for the most part. If we can ever have all of our guys healthy, and we gain some more experience, I have all the confidence that we will be the contender we are supposed to be. Great year Blazers
And thus passeth a kidney stone of a season. No member of the Blazer starting 5 has any reason to hold their head high after this. This is a very adequate team that will not be a serious contender without some kind of major revamp. I admit it - I am at a loss as to how to fix this team. There are so many things wrong, I don't know where they should begin.
I'm fairly sure you have plaigerized a pre-season post of mine right there. One I was attacked and ridiculed for. Our starters all deserted us, every one of them. http://www.nba.com/games/20100429/PHXPOR/gameinfo.html?ls=gt2hp0040900166 But our bench came through so maybe they are our "future core". One thing that's obvious is teams that have 4-5 3-pt shooters fare better than teams who only have 2-3.
