Hopefully Drury continues to sell. would love to see what he can get for Panarin. If he could only move Zibanadouche too that would be great

We can only probably hope that they continue to play Miller with Z over the next few years, as that seems to be helping. I don't see him being traded for another year or two but who knows.

The Rangers defense will be almost unrecognizable from the beginning of the year. Lindgren/Trouba gone. Fox injured. Good thing they are playing one of the other under-achieviing teams this year today.

    Agreed on the D, and I don't think that's a bad thing.

If Drury decides to keep Fox, and whether we agree or not I think Fox will be here long-term, I believe the # 1 priority should be to sign a top-level LD to pair with Fox and form a strong pair that can play major minutes against the other team's best players. We can use another winger to score goals, and some more depth, but the top LD is the most important add to me.

While I give him credit for accepting reality and trading Lindgren, Vesey, and soon Smith, I want to see the end results before I give him full credit for redeeming himself. Let's be honest, it's pretty easy to deal those 3 pending UFA's this time of year, let me see him deal some others like Kreider for example, then I'll give him more credit.

Most importantly, let's see what the team looks like when they take the ice next October, that will be the true test of good job and redeemed or not. But I do acknowledge that he deserves a small thumbs up, at least he is dealing the UFA's, I was concerned he wouldn't even do that.

Quick is so good at positioning himself, hope Igor was watching closely. What a difference in the defensive unit without wee Adam,. Whatever you want to thinks about Drury he's one of the winningest GMs in Rangers history already and the JT Miller trade may go down as one of the Rangers greatest trades, not just for JT's personal ability but how his work ethic has rubbed off on the team especially Mika. As the Rangers close in on the 3rd place and pass the Debs maybe some of the early ship jumpers will come back aboard for the playoff cruise. Let's Go Rangers!

Same doom and gloom crowd that determined Rempe wasn't NHL caliber may have to recalibrate their evaluation. Matt has shown marked improvement in every facet of his game especially posting up in front of the net. Most fans would be thrilled to get a guy his size with potential instead of wondering why certain aspects of his game were weak after 17 games of seasoning. I get that the Rangers really sucked for an inordinate amount of time midseason but here come the playoffs and the Rangers are right in the midst of things. Let's Go Rangers!

Yeah, I am pleasantly surprised by Rempe's improved play....he also seems to have tightened up his physical play a bit knowing that he's getting extra scrutiny. If he continues to avoid the unnecessary penalties he is an important piece for the final stretch of games.
As for where the Rangers end up in the standings...I can see them passing Detroit, potentially Ottawa and MAYBE the Blue Jackets but the Devils is not likely if you ask me. I feel like goal differential at this point in the season is a pretty good indicator of how the standings are going to shake out by the end of game 82.
I just hope for meaningful games in April. The playoffs are immeasurably less interesting to me when the Rangers aren't in.

Lol I added passing the Debs because the Hughes injury did not look good and 8 points back with 2 games in hand is very doable.
