    This will be a back-to-back for the Blazers with a less than 24-hour turnaround time against a very good home team in the Pistons, who are in a dogfight to get into the Playoffs in the East. This won't be easy at all.

    I was figuring this would be a difficult game to win even before Nurk was injured. Without him it's going to be a very difficult game. I expect a loss

    on the other hand, if Portland wins this game, not only would it be major gravy, it would be a pretty good indicator of resolve

    my wife tried to get me to go to a ballet once....once

    normally, I take the path of least resistance, but I do draw a few lines and stuff like the ballet and mood candles and brussel sprouts are on the other side of those lines

    Free Skal! (I’m just going to say it until he plays, so expect it every game thread)

    This is where we’re really going to miss Nurk. Kanter cant handle Drummond and we don’t have anyone to match up with Blake either. The best thing to do would be to go small and make their bigs work on the other end, but I’m not about to believe we’re going to get innovative. The good news? It’s a road back to back, I’m not expecting a win, and I’m about to start drinking.
