I’m sure we’ll see that soft pile of dog shit Zibanejad back on the power play.

Quick still looking solid. Made some great saves that period.

Maybe I was wrong about Cuylle not being a 3rd liner.

33 missed nets and lost faceoffs but they won.

Yanks should just forfeit at this point so we can get rid of the baseball season.

Cuylle does more with Lav's measly allotment of 14 minutes ice time than top liners do with 20+, Will now 5th in the NHL with hits, +10 with 9 points in 10 games. Very early but another strong game by Quick leaves me questioning whether spending $12 mil on Igor is such a good idea.

It is not even remotely close to a good idea to pay Igor $12M, it is idiotic actually and will be an awful decision if Drury agrees to it. Once again, my stance is straightforward if I am Drury: the offer is 8-years at $88M, an AAV of $11M per, which makes Igor the highest paid goalie ever (current highest is Price at $10.5M per). If Igor sticks to his guns and says no, I trade him. That's it.

I think it is ridiculous to offer him more, and quite frankly I think $11M is pushing it, but I'll go there to make him happy, give him the symbolic win of getting to 11, and put him 500 K ahead of Price. But that's it, not one cent more, or trade him.

History has very clearly shown you do not need a goalie making a boatload to win a Cup, history has actually shown the opposite, when your goalie makes a boatload against the cap, the chances of your team winning the Cup are reduced.

Zibanejad is killing this team. We have to find a way to get him off of the roster.

Good luck. Can’t trade the guy now since he is no movement clause until the final year of his contract and even then this dipshit has 21 team no trade clause. Fucking piece of shit Drury better pray this guy wakes up and starts playing up to his standards because the rangers are fucked and zibanadouche knows it

They’re probably going to use the next buyout on Trouba too. Unless some other team out of 9 that he can get traded to wants to take on his salary and he waives his no trade clause. I don’t see how they can get rid of him

No shot they use a buyout on Trouba next summer with only 1-year remaining on his contract, and his No Trade List down to 12 teams, meaning the Rangers can trade him to one of 19 teams. A team will take him, even if the Rangers eat a bit of his $8M.

The only potential solution for Zibanejad is to sit him for a couple of games IMO, same as Lav did with Igor last season. Moving him to PP2 is not nearly enough.

Zibanejad is a sulking little entitled bitch. Sitting him for two games won’t do shit and only make him sulk more. Scratch home for at least 4 games and Reduce his ice time dramatically so he can request a trade.

2 games, 3 games, 4 games, other #, he needs to sit for a bit if you have any hope of it making an impact. We agree.
