Carmelo is the star of the Nuggets, and can lead them to victory more often than not. Pau Gasol will hurt you on the inside, and Denver don't really have an answer to his skills down low. He could be the key factor. By TimFlem Carmelo Anthony and Pau Gasol are the key factors of this game because of their talents to help their teams win when they need it the most. Carmelo with his ability to play unstopable in crunch time and Pao's ability to get key rebounds in the 4th. Should see alot from these two tonight. Key Factor Backcourt Play By jump Rick Adelman said it, and it was plain for everyone to see, Memphis' backcourt, Jason Williams and Mike Miller, were on fire against the Kings. They combined for 52 points, while Jason Williams recorded a double-double with 10 assists. Andre Miller and Voshon Lenard will have a tough job trying to contain these two. By TimFlem Memphis backcourt is the key to this game for the Nuggets. They have to stop Jason and Mike from getting on fire early. If they do this they will have a chance to build up a substancial lead and maybe be able to keep it. Watch Out For Earl Boykins By jump Keep an eye on Denver's sixth man. Earl Boykins has had a fairly quiet week, but every other game, he will pull something out of the bag. By TimFlem Earl Boykins is the definition of "big things come in small packages". He can just blow up at any given moment and put your tram to shame. ESPN Predictions By jump Beating Memphis at home is hard enough, as the Kings found out, but the crowd is really getting behind their team, and Memphis are on a record breaking streak so Denver are going to have a lot on their plate. If the Kings couldn't win, it will be hard for the Nuggets to crack them. Memphis by 9 By TimFlem I say the Nuggets take this one by 6. They will have to build a lead early though. Memphis have won seven straight, and I can't see the Nuggets beating them at home. Posey vs Nene though? Surely Posey would take Melo, and Gasol would take nene.
Well, this definitely isn't going to be an easy game for the Nuggets. THey have played sloppy, and Carmelo is going to have a hard time against Posey because he's such a great defender. I know Memphis will probably win, but I'm still going with the Nuggets by 4.

Quoting jump:

Yes but this is how they are listed as starters. The key matchup is more of a general thing.
Why is Mike Miller listed as going against Andre Miller? Mike is a forward and Andre is a point guard. Why is Pau Gasol listed as going against Carmello Anthony? Pau is a power forward/center and Anthony is a wing. Why is James Posey listed as guarding Nene? Posey is a shooting guard, and Nene is a power forward/center. Lastly, why is Jason Williams listed as guarding Voshon Lenard? Jason Williams is a point guard and Voshon is a wing. Grizz by 11.
This is how they are listed on NBA.com Accordin to the website, this is how the Grizz started against the Kings. Miller at pg. ect.
