BAD NEWS: A.I. Out With Ankle Injury The 3 game losing streak might go to 4 if Blake has another unproductive game, now that A.I. is out. Or, it wouldn't hurt if Najera could step up for a change. Melo needs to get 35 or more and J.R. 20 or more with A.I. out with the ankle. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">DENVER (TICKER) -- The Denver Nuggets will have to do without superstar guard Allen Iverson in Wednesday's game against Portland. Iverson suffered a sprained right ankle in the first quarter of Monday's 105-101 loss to Charlotte. He played through the injury and scored 31 points but said that his ankle tightened up on him after he left the game in the fourth quarter. The Nuggets said he did not travel with the team Tuesday. The 31-year-old is averaging 28.9 points per game, third most in the league. Since joining Denver in a trade with Philadelphia in mid-December, Iverson is averaging 27.1 points in 19 contests </div> Source
I think they can win this without AI, Melo needs a good game and he can easily carry the team over the Blazers if they have a 2nd scorer or a few average performers contributing. Lets go, Nuggets!
The Nuggets are going to have to be road warriors, they have so many road games left. Go Road Warriors!
