Those calling the shots, however, say West is far from a forgotten man. Hornets general manager Jeff Bower insists that West still is very much in the team's game plan. Coach Byron Scott said he expects him to be even better than last season, when he finished second in voting for the league's Most Improved Player Award. "He's still a big part of what we do," Scott said. "I think his role is not going to be any different. My expectations of him are going to be higher than they were last year. I think we got a taste of what he's capable of doing, and I want more." </div> Source
So where is he going to be put? Is he a SF or PF? With all the new additions Chris Paul is still going to be the best and actually better with more options now.
I don't know where to put West imo. He seems out of place at the PF but doesn't seem right at the SF.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DIRK4L1FE:</div><div class="quote_post">Chandler @ C West @ PF Stojakovic @ SF</div> That's how I would do it as well. Then I'd throw in D-Mase for defense and slashing at SG, and keep CP3 at the point of course. You could also switch up Peja and D-Mase possibly, but I think Mason could play the other team's #2 better.
