The New Orleans Hornets are coming into this game with a record of 23-18 and a loss at Minnessota tonight. . The Hornets have have been in a decent stance in the standings, not falling too low or rising too high, but just being in there.. The Philadelphia 76ers however are coming into this game with a record of 18-22, and two losses on the road. The Sixers have recently been in a slump, this is due to the absence of their superstar player, Allen Iverson who missed 10 games due to a knee injury. The return of Allen Iverson is a huge plus for the Sixers, he however is not in good shape to lead the team, Glenn Robinson has stepped up as the leader now, but some stepped down, players such as Derrcik Coleman and Eric Snow. For the Sixers to walk out of New Orleans with a win, the team needs to play as one.

    <div align="center">[IMG]</div>

The Key factor of this game is obviously for the team to play together as a whole. Our recent slump down the standing is because we are not playing as a team. Certain players are not stepping up, for continous games, and that is hurting us. We need to get everyone involved early, and need to pass the bal constantly. Derrick Coleman needs to get involved early more than anyone else, the past couple of games, he has scored in very low digits, and has not rebounded good either.

The other thing is we need a much hard-nosed defense to be applied to our gameplan, recently our steals average has been in a slump, as Allen Iverson is injured. However we mustn't rely on him only for defensive pressure. We have great defensive players in Eric Snow, Aaron McKie, and most notably Samuel Dalembert. We need to get Sam involved early as well down low, make him get those rebounds, and stop the shots.

The Answer vs. B Diddy. This is a great matchup that fans from both sides enjoy watching. Both players have a great amount of talent, and carry their teams. I see Baron getting the upper hand of the matchup this time around, as Allen is still recovering from his injury and the flu. Baron earlier in the season was on a tear, but has somewhat cooled down, though not to underestimate him, I believe he will have a great game, thirty points or more. For Iverson/Snow to contain him, they need to get in his face, and play hard-nosed defense, pick him apart, and try and steal the ball every chance they get.

    <div align="center">[IMG]</div>

    <div align="center">[IMG]</div>

Samuel Dalambert. This is one hell of a player, for such a young age. He is a monster inside, grabbing anything and everything he can get his hands on. Recently has been showing that he needs to be put at a starting position, especailly with Derrick Coleman's poor play lately. He has really had his breakout year this season, being injured most of last year, this is his rookie year, and he wants to make a statement, and has so far. I put him as the X - Factor, because if he plays well, then we will win, it shows. The last couple of games where he has played well, we have played well, and have gotten the W.

This is going to be a good one. The absense of David Wesley might be a plus for the Sixers. It's a road game against an Eastern Conference team. The Sixers need to win this to get back on the right track before going back home Friday to play Orlando.

However, I say Hornets by 5.

I think it's gonna be Hornets by 2. Darrell Armstrong has really played well in Wesley's absence and will continue their good play.

The Hornets are without some of their top players and even though I think Davis will have a good game, it's still too hard for the Hornets to win tonight.

    I say Sixers win, 96-89.

This is gonna be very hard game for sixers. If they continue to playing like they played yesterday and today there is not much to except from them then a loss. Two big men need to step it up this game, Iverson and Glenn cant do it all by themselves.

btw. Thats a sick preview [IMG]

With the absense of Davis, Mashburn and Wesley, the Sixers best win. And if they don't, there's a real problem.

Baron is playing, but Courtney isn't. If Baron wasn't playing, then it would be a secured win, but with his presence, anything i spossible, especailly with a team like Philadelphia and the state they're in now.

    Well the game has started!

There are three and a half minutes left in the first quarter and the Sixers are up by two, 13-11.

Iverson has 6 points, and Glenn has 7, with 4 rebounds to go along with it. The rest of the team has yet to score. On the other end, Steve Smith, and Jamaal MAgloire have teamed up for nine.

    Nice lil graphics Sasha...

If the Sixers allow Jamaal Maglorie and Steve Smith to be the leading scorers in this game, and Baron has his usual game, they stand lil chance.

    Thanks.

At the end of the first quarter the Sixers are behind 28-25. Iverson has 10 points and 1 assists, and Glenn has poured in 9 and 3.

The Hornets have their leading scorere in Steve MSith, as he has 10. Seems as if Erin was right, Baron is not playing in tonight's game it seems, because he looks to be on the bench.

Sixers are playing good ball against the hornters. They are shooting 50% from the field, we are currently up 82-77 with 5 minutes left in 4th. Glenn Robinson having another good game with 23 points (11-16 from the field) and 7 Boards.

Thank God. We really needed this. I was afraid they would give it away at the end like they always do.

I thought you said a while ago, to never doubt your team after some game you were at. Good win, nonetheless. I'll try and get a Postgame Report in sometime.
