AL: BOSTON (90-62) at TORONTO (76-75) <h3>Red Sox rookie Buchholz makes first start since no-hitter</h3> <div class="pre">Boston (90-62) at Toronto (76-75) 7:07 pm EDT</div> TORONTO (Ticker) - Rookie Clay Buchholz makes his first startsince making history when he takes the mound for the Boston RedSox against the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. The 23-year-old Buchholz (3-0, 1.50 ERA) has not started sincepitching a no-hitter against Baltimore on September 1. He maderelief five days late against the Orioles, working threescoreless innings. With their prized prospect on the mound, the Red Sox are hopingto avoid a three-game sweep. Boston has four of its last five,and has had its lead in the American League East reduced to 21/2 games over the New York Yankees (87-64). Rookie Jesse Litsch (5-9, 4.37) will try to earn his first winsince August 23 and correct his own slide when he takes themound for the Blue Jays. Litsch, who logged a 2.48 ERA over 10 starts in July and August,has been dismal in September, posting an 0-3 record. The22-year-old has allowed 14 runs and 21 hits over just 11 1/3innings during the month. For the season, Litsch is 1-1 with a 7.20 ERA against the RedSox.
