The Bulls dominated 36 minutes of the game. Sadly, a NBA contest lasts 48 minutes, and in those last 12 minutes the Bulls saw the Cavaliers go on a 16-0 run and steal a win from right under Chicago’s nose. The Bulls don’t have a go to guy down the stretch, and that often means they have to work harder than any other team in the league to get a win. Because of this the Bulls need to stay together and finish strong as a team. They seemed to concerned with eradicating the Cavaliers lead with one shot rather than working together as a team to get back into the game last night. They forced shots and got away from their defensive game plan. They cannot do that tonight if they have any hopes of pulling out a win.
Force turnovers when the Bulls where in cruise control last night one thing they where doing consistently was playing defense and forcing turnovers. Although, the Bulls have no superstar that takes control of games they have over half a dozen guys who will leave it all on the court, and do the little things to win. They will need to force some turnovers tonight to give themselves some more opportunities on the offensive end of the court. The Grizzlies have a very talented young big man in Pau Gasol, who has more than come into his own this season, if the Bulls let him and the Grizzlies get into a comfortable half court offense they (Bulls) will struggle to find success.
Find the hot hand the Bulls tend to have at least one guy who will be on fire each night. Unfortunately, it takes them a while to find out who that guy is. They need to find that guy early tonight to give themselves a little more breathing room, later in the game. Just by knowing who the guy with the hot hand is will allow you to run a more efficient offense.
Pound the ball inside the Bulls are thin when it comes to big men. The Grizzlies should pound the ball inside as much as they can tonight. This will open up the perimeter, and allow the Grizzlies to get some open three pointers for guys like Eddie Jones. Not only that, but if they can get Michael Sweetney into foul trouble they have already taken care of 1/3 of the Bulls front court rotation.
Hit open jumpers one thing the Cavaliers did tog et back into the game against the Bulls last night was hit jumpers when they where left open. The Grizzlies will need to do the same tonight, because chances are the Bulls defense will double team big men inside on more than a couple of occasions tonight.
Injuries
Grizzlies Bobby Jackson (pulled right hamstring) is probable.
Series Notes
Chicago snapped a five-game road losing streak and a four-game skid versus Memphis last season with a 96-88 win at FedExForum ... prior to the win at Memphis last year, the Bulls last win versus the Grizzlies away from the United Center was a 103-85 win at Vancouver on Jan. 27, 1998 ... the Bulls are 8-2 in Chicago versus the Grizzlies ... the Bulls shot .517 (15-29) from 3-point range in the series last season, while the Grizzlies managed just .308 (12-39) from downtown.
Who wins?
Normally, you here road trip and shutter, just hoping to be able to maintain a winning record during your time away from home. The Bulls, however, entering Friday's action, the Bulls are the only team in the NBA with a losing mark at home (5-7) and a winning record on the road (7-6). So with that said, and the fact that they have not been more than one game under five hundred this season. I will go ahead and predict a close Bulls victory.

Quoting babybulls:

we got smoked, but chandler had 12 rebounds... does anyone know what his health status is
According to an article I posted a while back he was starting to feel good. I think he is starting to get back to the point he was last year. His offensive game is still miles behind where it should be.
