    <h3>Lakers' Bryant set to face possible new employer</h3>

    LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakersaim for their third straight win at the Staples Center whenthey take on the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.


    Just a few weeks ago it was widely speculated that the Bullswere the frontrunners to acquire Bryant, a two-time scoringchampion. But the Bulls have been unwilling to part withrising start Luol Deng.


    Bryant requested to be traded in the summer and Chicago was oneof the teams on his wish list. The 6-6 guard is the only playerin the league with a no-trade clause in his contract.

    However, since then those rumors has all but went away andBryant's name remains out of the headlines regarding a possiblemove to the Bulls, who can't seem to get things on track so farthis season.


    Ben Gordon scored 14 of his 25 points in the first half and theBulls never trailed during a 92-73 victory over the Los AngelesClippers on Saturday.


    While Chicago tries to regain its confidence from last season,the Lakers have been more competitive.


    Most recently, Lamar Odom had season highs of 25 points and 15boards and Bryant battled through an off night as the Lakersposted a 103-91 triumph over the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

    The Bulls and Lakers have split in their season series the pastthree campaigns.

    NBA League Pass is too easy to hack. Thats ridiculous on the NBA's part, but I'll take advantage...</p>

    Why is Adrian Griffin starting. There is noone on the Lakers he can guard. Tyrus will be in fast...also, Kirk will probably foul Kobe 10 times in the first minute of the game and end up on the bench for Gardner.</p>

    Griffin's being very active. Somehow he's around the ball and keeping it alive for the Bulls after Hinrich's misses [​IMG]</p>

    Ben's been playing well this season. Another step up. Likewise with Noc. Now, if we could only get Hinrich and Wallace going.</p>

    Duhon is undersized in this game. This is the type of game where it would be helpful if Seofolosha could step up.</p>

    Thabo is in the game. Kirk's like 0-4 again ... This is just weirdness to see him struggle at this stage in his career.</p>
