Miami is fresh off a coaching change, and a road win in Chicago. Miami is playing a back to back on the road, with a somewhat new coach, will Shaq be able to play back to back this soon after coming back? I think the Bucks may be able to pull this one out. There are factors here that point to a Bucks win, what with the coaching change, Shaq not being reacclimated to the team, and a tough road back-to-back, but without Bobby Simmons, I feel that the Heat are just going to go nuts scoring the ball. We're going to have Redd and/or TJ on Wade most of the night, and if Redd's on him, he'll blow by him, and if TJ's on him, they'll use the screens that have been so effective lately in freeing Wade to shoot from the perimiter. The Bucks absolutely have to defend Shaq. If he's allowed to go for 20 points, it's game over. Wade is going to go nuts, so we have to stop the Heats' other scorers, like we did against the Sixers and AI (he went for 40, no one else had more than 11). It's our only chance. Now that injuries have hit, we're going to see the real Bucks. If they don't bring it at home against the Heat, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the season. Heat 105 Bucks 101
Mo Williams Out Tonight, No reason heard or seen yet Jiri Welsch gets the start So many injuries........ Heck Reece Gaines is even in the game so far......

They were missing Bobby Simmons, Joe Smith, Charlie Bell, which were known before the game, but then before tip we learned Mo Williams was out with an apparant thigh injury. Thats 2 starters, and a current starter Mo out. Jiri Welsch was forced to start and log 43 minutes. He put up a decent game of 15 pts 7 boards, 6 assists. But when you have to play your starters 40 minutes each because you have guys like Reece Gaines, Ervin Johnson, Josh Davis coming off the bench due to injury, you aren't gonna beat a good team. Especially when Michael Redd has an off night. The Bucks missed A LOT of open, wide open shots tonight. Oh and by the way, nobody travels more than Antoine Walker. Nice to see someone we've watched since he was a scrawny freshman at Marquette becoming the NBA's biggest star. GMans MVP: Dwyane Wade NEW RECORDS Bucks 12-8 Heat 13-10 Next Games Bucks @ Boston Friday Heat @ Philly Friday
This was a tough loss, and the injuries didn't help, but I was not impressed by the guys who did play. After the first quarter, we were outscored 82-57...at home. I think that's all you need to say about this game. We are hurting right now, but either way we got our butts handed to us by a very good team.
Did you see who we brought off the bench? Ervin Johnson, Reece Gaines, Josh Davis...... Jiri Welsch played 43 minutes...sorry but your not going to beat the Heat with that...
