    Pre Game Predictions Contest

    1. Who will lead the Lakers in scoring tonight?
    2. Who will lead the Lakers in rebounds tonight?
    3. Who will lead the Lakers in assists tonight?
    4. Who will Andrew Bynum "truck" tonight?
    5. Will the Lakers win or lose?
    6. Will Lamar Odom get a triple double?
    7. Will the Lakers have more FTAs or 3PTAs?
    8. Will the Lakers have under or over 20 turnovers?

Each question you get right is worth 1 point, and after each month there will be a prize for the highest score. If you edit your choices after the game starts to cheat, you'll be disqualified. Which means all picks must be in before the game starts.

I'll keep an updated point total and your scores will be reset to zero at the end of a month.

    The debut of 24?

<font color=""DarkGreen"">PG: Luke Ridnour SG: Ray Allen SF: Rashard Lewis PF: Chris Wilcox C: Mouhamed Sene</font>

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

<font color=""Purple"">PG: Smush Parker SG: Kobe Bryant?? SF: Luke Walton PF: Lamar Odom C: Andrew Bynum</font>

    [IMG][IMG] VS [IMG][IMG]

<font color="DarkGreen">Luke Ridnour will be starting at point guard for the Sonics tonight. Luke is a talented point guard and may cause some problems for Smush Parker. Luke is a smart player, and with guys like Lewis and Allen on the wings, he will make many plays for the Sonics tonight. Hopefully Smush will keep him in check early on.

Ray Allen will be one of the key players to watch for tonight. Allen is one of the deadliest shooters in the league, and can light it up from anywhere down the court. Our defense will have a tough task tonight. Let's just hope Allen doesn't get too hot.</font>

<font color=""Purple"">Smush Parker has been a bit of a disappointment thus far in the season. He has looked lazy early on, and doesn't seem focused at all on defense. With Jordan Farmar playing as well as he has, if Smush doesn't start to show some urgency, his starting job may be on the line.

Kobe Bryant should be playing tonight, according to ESPN. But it is still impossible to tell how effective he will be. We all know how good of a player Kobe Bryant is, and when healthy he is one of the best in the league. But this is his first game back from knee surgery, so expect some rust. </font>

    [IMG][IMG][IMG] VS [IMG][IMG][IMG]

<font color=""DarkGreen"">The Sonics possess another dangerous shooter in Rashard Lewis. Lewis, just like Allen, can light it up anywhere on the court. He has terrific range and has the ability to stretch the offense. Lewis gives the Sonics another offensive weapon, and let's hope the Laker's keep him in check.

Former Clippers Chris Wilcox resigned with the Sonics this off-season, and may be poised for a break out year. Wilcox is still a very young player, but he has shown the potential to be a very good player in the league. Wilcox is tough and strong, and not afraid of any contact.

Mouhamed Sene was the Sonic's first round pick in this year's NBA Draft. It is still too early on to determine what type of factor Sene will have on the game. But Sene was drafted for his defensive abilities, and maybe we will get the opportunity to see some of it tonight.</font>

<font color=""Purple"">Luke Walton has really improved for the Lakers, and is now in the starting lineup. Walton has really shown his ability to run the triangle, and make plays for the offense. He has also developed a terrific go to move on offense. Walton will be key for the Lakers tonight if they want a win.

Lamar, Lamar, Lamar. Where do I start. After experiencing some very drastic events in the off-season, many questioned Lamar's focus on the game of basketball. But so far, Lamar has only used it as a fuel under his skin. In the first two games of the season, Lamar has really shown what type of player he can really become. But with Kobe back tonight, will Lamar continue to play at this level? Will Lamar continue to be aggressive?

Andrew Bynum has been another pleasant surprise for the Lakers thus far into the season. Bynum had a terrific season opener, and showed everyone why the Lakers decided to take him 10th overall in the 05 Draft. But, being only 19 years old, Bynum will have his ups and downs this season, and will most likely be very inconsistent. Given the Laker's injuries at the big man spot, they are very thin at front court. Let's just hope Bynum can give us a productive night, and gives us a big presence in the middle.</font>

The Sonics may be talented at the offensive end, but I'm taking the Lakers tonight. Kobe should be back, and although he may not be 100%, his teammates will all be out there trying to win him this one. Lakers win, 97-85

Ray Allen is starting to heat up, 3 point basket plus the foul. Lakers still have a commanding lead after the 1st quarter and lead by 12.

Kobe 6 points & 3 assists so far.

Lakers start the 2nd quarter with their 2nd unit of Farmar-Evans-Radman-Turiaf along with Odom. Their goal needs to be holding the lead at 10 and buying minutes for the rest of the starters before halftime.

Radman is very aggressive calling for the ball.

ODOM FOR 3! 14 points and 4 assists.

Wilkins with an alleyoop from Watson.

Turiaf scores on a baby hook.

    Lakers are up by 14.

Evans hits off the dish from Odom....sweeeeeeet!

Watson with a layup and the foul.

50-36 Lakers lead 7:30 minutes left before halftime.

Damn Seattle cuts the lead to 6 with a 10-0 run.

    Kobe turns it over.

Wilkins gets away with a hook and cuts the lead to 4, with 5 minutes left.

Lakers need to steup of the defense.
